I usually make a shim with a square piece of paper about a half inch square. Put it on the peg like a cap and then push the model down gentle.

I spray paint my bases and pegs black. Once they're dry (and varnished) I often find it difficult to get them off!

I bought 2 of them on the CSI $23 each and 2 of the YT-200 for $17 (shipped). Amazon has the Decimator for $22 shipped right now.

I have a CSI Deci and a GenCon Deci. The CSI Deci always rolls blanks. The GenCon Deci never rolls crits.

eBay Decimators are by far the best.

I'm not sure where you are but $25 for the Decimator is the upper end of what I'd consider paying for it. I found mine for less through Amazon.

Got one today at Barnes & Noble, regular retail price. I could have found it cheaper online no doubt, but I bought it with a gift card from my sister and wanted to go ahead and splurge on it while the Christmas holidays were still festive. More memorable that way, at least for me :)

Edit: but I'm gonna get the YT-2400 for as much of a song as I can!!
