So for all the ship cards there's a thousand different options for deck boxes or 3 ring binder sleeves, but what about all the little upgrade cards and damage decks? does anyone make deck boxes or 3 ring binder sleeves for those?
Small card storage?
I just put all mine in 100 card clear plastic boxes.. labled the top with what is in each one and I'm done with it.. lol.. it works great, fits in my plano red case and plentymof room for new cards..
I use these. The small cards fit perfectly facing toward the sides of the box.

Put them in sideways in a 100 count box?
Genius! Especially since I have a couple of those laying around. I love a solution that doesn't cost anything.
What about binder sleeves though? Do they come in this size?
You can find binder sleeves on ebay... I thought about it, but liked the box idea better.. lol
I use pages, 9 card sideloading doubled sided it organizes them very well, but if you look on boardgamegeek.com you can find the tuckboxs that you make yourself
Ultra Pro PRO-Binder, 4-Pocket, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0094J1PJ8/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_2DjNub1Y2Z94W
This is why I use for my small cards.
2.5" COIN pages...work great..
Edited by SwedgeUltra Pro makes 3 ring binder pages that are meant for stickers, 2.25"x2.5", 12 pockets per page. They are the right height, and a little wider to leave room for multiple copies. They work great!
Ultra Pro 12 Pocket for Stickers (max 2 1/4 x 2 1/2) Pages (100 Pages) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000ETN7N4/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_GZkNub1SN5XGG
(This link is for 100 pages, kind of overkill haha)
Edited by CptnhalfbeardI'm cheap. I use an expandable coupon wallet. It fits in my big Plano box, and actually helps to stabilize my transport and corvette in the top compartment.
I know some people like to organize their stuff. It brings them joy. I'm on the other side of the spectrum, though. Having a binder is a horrible idea to me. Organizing them and finding them and re-arranging them. Ugh. I just rubber band the same types together and use the cardboard boxes from the store championships.
I bag them in small bags by upgrade type and then drop them in one of the card boxes from the organized play kits. I currently have all cards split over 3 of the card boxes (one for rebels, one for empire, and one for larger bags of upgrades, such as EPTs).
i guess the question is when you go to play, do you bring EVERYTHING or do you just work on one or two lists at a time.
for me, when i go to play, i work on just one list at a time, so all i bring with me is just hte upgrades, pilots, dice, templates, tokens and ships i am playing in that particular squad.
it all fits nicely in the core box, save for big ships, those i normally jsut sit on top and carry in.
Ever have problems with the cards sliding behind each other with that set up?

I currently only play at home and I don't see that changing any time soon(sadly) so it's not so much about transportation as it is storage. I learned back in my Mechwarrior days to just bring my army and not the whole collection. I was loading a cart to haul it into the store and had to stop and ask myself, "why am I doing this?"
To the "do you bring it all" question. It depends, I'm tryimg to get it all down to a single 'tourney' box. All my ships fit in a couple plano red boxes, and a tote bag with all the large ships, either in pluck foam or original packimg.
It also depends on what lists I'm tryingnout. I don't like to show up with only one list of ships to fly that day. Once I have the tourney box figured I'll shave down my ships taken some.
I created dividers for 400(?) count card boxes and put them in there. Since the width of the small cards is half the height of the regular cards they fit in 2 rows in the boxes.

I bring ships and everything I need to run 2-3 lists, if I'm playing at the FLGS. Those lists typically have a great deal of overlap, in terms of ships, so I don't lug a lot of ships around. If I'm playing casual games at a friend's house, I'll take everything, because not everyone has ships.
I used to bring everything with me to FLGS until my collection exceeded the size of my backpack. After that I struggled trying to figure out how to make it work.
Now I bring 2 tournament cases that can store 2-4 squads (they are 2 older Home Depot HDX cases of 2 different sizes). The important thing about these cases is they have small trays inside that are perfect for storing tokens. When I unpack to play, i just take the tray out and it's ready to use.
So I pack just those 2 cases and a dice tray. I plan my lists out in advance and it hasn't been a problem for over a year.
does anyone know where I can find these Ultra Pro 12 Pocket for Stickers (max 2 1/4 x 2 1/2) Pages? 100 is a bit much I think I need like 20 max.
