Completely unclear on the one-attack restriction in skirmish...

By Stormtrooper721, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

I am just not getting this.

Does this mean that Darth Vader can't use his Brutality at all in Skirmish or that he can't use Brutality and use his other action to attack?

Also, the Skirmish version cards of several of the campaign Heroes specifically mention that they can use multiple attacks, so they can attack multiple times in the Skirmish, correct? Look at Fenn's SKIRMISH card!

Can the E-Web Engineer still attack multiple times in the Skirmish? ...because he has the exact same wording as Fenn!

Very confused. Can someone sort me out, please?

In skirmish, models can only use one attack action unless otherwise stated.

Brutality isn't an attack action. It's a special action that results in attacjs being made.

Vader can use Brutality as one action AND attack as his second action resulting in three attacks being made.

He can also use the Lord of the Sith command card and use Brutality and Force Choke (both special actions) and still use one of the extra actuons from the commad card as an attack action.

Cards trump rules.

Thats not fully right Brutality does replace your attack action Skirmish guide page 5. Choke is not an attack though.

@Nungunz I think someone needs to reread the rules lol thats twice in less than 24 hours.

This absolutely cannot be true as, on page 5 of the Skirmish guide, it specifically says that you cannot use Brutality or Pounce and then use another action to attack.

I'm afraid you're quite wrong:

Page 6:

Unlike heroes, a figure that has a Deployment card can use only one of its actions to attack per activation. This includes using special actions that involve performing one or more attacks (such as the Nexu’s “Pounce” or Darth Vader’s “Brutality”).
