View of Mos Shuuta

By Jericho0ne, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

I wanted to create an image of what Mos Shuuta looked like from a distance for my players. So I thought i would share the result in case someone else wanted to do the same.

Love to hear your feedback.

Very cool.

Nice work.

Oh, so nostalgic. I don't really remember failing my rapelling roll and pretty much falling down that cliff, so thanks for reminding me! :o And that slightly burned spot there in the middle where the two thermite grenades in the garbage sack with someones, err, ah, garbage in it burned out.

I'm tempted to buy a holoprint of this one and put it on the wall of our newly salvaged ship. (Well, once I scrape off the rust!)

**** you. Why could you not have created this two months ago when my players visited Mos Shuuta? It would have brought a smile of delight to their face. Now I'm compelled to have them visit some other dustball planet with some other sh*t-hole spaceport, just so I can show them your awesome picture (presuming your permission here, I guess). I'm a massive fan of showing images to set a scene rather than tactical maps of the locale. I find it an inspirational approach, particularly when it comes to combat. Well done, sir.

Brilliant work, thanks!

Nice work!

That's excellent work submit that kind of stuff to ffg maybe some art can be used from you in future stuff.

Wow - thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it. Sorry it's a little late in the grand scheme of things, only just kicking off a campaign here - finally found the time to prep.

;)

It's very nice. If I may ask, what did you use to draw it?

Does it really matter? I've learned that the artist makes far more difference than any given tool when it comes to making something like this. I've seen Da Vinci level art from MS Paint and stuff that even a 5 year old would call ugly from Photoshop/Illustrator.

Yes. Be it for simple curiosity or professional, competitive interest, it's a valid question.

Glad of the interest. It's purely photoshop work. I took the main photo when I was visiting Wadi Ram in Jordan. The other bits are drawn, Google image edits or merged. It's photo editing job. :)

Awesome. I'm acquiring a collection of "photos" to show my players in place of maps whenever possible. I think it'll add more to the feel and immersion.

it looks awesome. good job. good.job indeed

Thank you ^_^

I had originally just "liked" it when you posted it, but since I can't like the OP twice, I need to pile on some praise, too. Simply awesome! Great job at capturing a moment in the game without being a spoiler. I love it, two suns and everything.

Thanks a lot :)

Sorry, delayed responses, don't get the forums too often.

:D

Fantastic. Want more!

Love it!!!

You did that?

You're better than we thought!

:D

very nice work. You have a gift. Will be using when I run this campaign for my kids :)

Eh, it's ok. Not enough lens flare for me. ;)

lol - I did indeed @oddballE8.. All that work and I only manage to run one session so far :)

Thanks for your kind words people.
