I still have no idea what MOV is. I see it a lot. I read the whole thread in the hope that someone will spell it out for me.
EDIT - NM, just googled it. Like I should have months ago. Margin Of Victory. Geez I'm a chucklehead sometimes.
Looks like I have some catching up to do.

Not thoroughly it seems. I answered that question on the previous page in post #116
Don't know if it's been mentioned or not...
PWT = Primary Weapon Turret
SWT = Secondary Weapon Turret
Also...

Thanks for that, I always read "Pancake With Turret".
Not sure if this has a name yet
But I call Corran Horn with PTL, FCS,R2D2, and a Shield Upgrade
"Corran's Kiss"
And I know for certain that I'm calling a Punisher with 2-Proximity Mines and Extra Munitions
"Minefields"

As that's all you see on him barring a different EPT like LW
Defenders are often times reffered to as 'Clutches'.

what about PWT?
Primary Weapon Turret such as the Falcon and Decimator. Frequently, but not always, meant to refer specifically to 3+attack dice primary weapon turrets since they are the ones that some people have issues with.

I thought the AC/DC list required Dark Curse as well. That was where the name came from, Accuracy Correctors (AC) and Dark Curse (DC).

Yeah, AC/DC was 4x Tempest Squadron + Accuracy Corrector with Dark Curse.
Then people started making up all cool names for variants with all AC/DC song names. 4x Tempest + Accuracy Corrector + Cluster Missiles was dubbed "Thunderstruck".

Yup!
Today's discussion about jargon has made me realise that "Brobots", "pancake" and "doughnut hole" aren't on the list. And neither are "AT" or "TLT".
As Matthew Broderick once said, X-Wing slang moves pretty fast.
What's "spam"
when used to describe squad builds
?...hopefully that will avoid some of the snark coming my way.
