Autothrusters would probably not be worth its points without so many powerful turrets in the meta.

Please add to this, and I'll update the main section. Then maybe we can get this linked in MJs pinned thread.

I'd avoid giving specific upgrade combos for things like "Super Dash" or "Fat Han" because there is no 1 exact way to build it. That being said, add Fat Han.
EI - Experimental interface

VI - Veteran Instincts

APT- Advanced Proton Torps

TL - Target Lock

TL+F - Target Lock + Focus

AP - Applied Perspective
I've seen them pop up more than a few times. Great place for acrylics.

Nice guys. I'll start adding these after the kids go to bed.

ORS - outer rim smuggler

Awesome.

Once this gets rolling, this is absolutely getting linked!

A couple formatting thoughts. Do add section headings in bold with a larger font. Also, and this is minor, you might want to consider using a different font type so "EI" can't be read as "El". (Case in point, they look the same on the default font, one is i, other is L.)

FCS- Fire Control System

RGP- Royal Guard Pilot

APT- Advanced Proton Torpedoes

Phantom Menace - List with 3-4 Phantoms

Anything related to Cows or Whales = Shuttles (Thank you, SableGryphon).

Doom_____ = Darth Vader Crew on a _____ with as few extra points as possible.

EPT = Elite Pilot Talent (the Medal upgrade)

ORS - outer rim smuggler

Not to be confused with Ors - Jan Ors

BlockORS: An ORS (Outer Rim Smuggler) with Navigator, Intel Agent, and your choice of either Anti-Pursuit Lasers or Tactical Jammer. It is guaranteed to make your ship crash into it. Repeatedly.

It doesn't come up often, but for completeness sake, the nicknames for the various TIE series

Fighter - Eyeballs

Advanced - Brights

Interceptor - Squints (most commonly used)

Bomber - Dupes

Defender - Trips

Phantom - Blinks

Doom Shuttle - Lambda shuttle w/ Vader Crew

Buzzsaw - Typically Imperial ship w/ Gunner crew (e.g. Buzzsaw Shuttle, Buzzsaw Whisper)

AS - Advanced Sensors

Buzzsaw - Typically Imperial ship w/ Gunner crew (e.g. Buzzsaw Shuttle, Buzzsaw Whisper)

Buzzsaw specifically refers to Gunner + Fire-Control Systems.

It was invented for the Shuttle, who would then also have Engine Upgrades.

Basically, if you miss your first attack, your second attack will always have a free Target Lock, irrespective of whether you can take actions this turn. That's hugely powerful when you're in such a stress-heavy ship that is so reliant on Engine Upgrades to.. move.

Love that the community is coming together on this so quickly to answer the call!

Some common terms but not to be left out. What is funny is this is exactly what I wanted to do and add to the forum on my break

Fat: Maxed out, almost maxed out with upgrades

example: Fat Han

Naked: Any ship flown with no upgrades

Arc: the primary targeting area of a ship

Arc Dodging: Maneuvering a ship outside of another ships Arc

Formation: Flying ships close together

Swarm: Flying several of one ship in formation

Bumping: When maneuvering a chio having it end its turn touching another ship

Jousting: Each opponent flying ships straight at each other, like knights of old with lances.

I wouldn't say that a swarm requires formation flying. That has just been the most common because if howlrunner, but z-95s and soon scyks are changing that and allowing swarms to be more dispersed and flexible.

Hard to define but commonly asked: Rebel Control

I'll let froggies figure out an easy to sum up that whole genre of lists.

Fat: Maxed out, almost maxed out with upgrades

example: Fat Han

Alternatively, Fat means "Built with as many defensive upgrades as possible", as you wouldn't call a HSF build a Fat Han, even though it filled the same number of slots.

Oh, and HSF = Han Shoots First, a build in which the YT-1300 has a Gunner and several other offensive upgrades.

My two cents worth...

Warthog = Y-Wing + Ion Turret + BTL-A4
Stressbot = R3-A2
Turtle Up = Focus + Evade

More to come, I have to put some thought in to this...

Part II

Mini-Swarm = 3-5 TIE Firghters, usually consisting of Howlrunner and low level pilots. A piece added to abouther, more expensive ship like a Phantom or a Firespray. Exp: "Something plus mini-swarm, Echo plus mini-swarm"

Rocks = Astroids

Biggles = Biggs (Thanks Neil!)
PocketRpockets/PRockets = Proton Rockets

Builds:
Rebel Convoy = 2X ORS + 2 Gold Squadron Pilots with Ion Turrets (credit KeniticOperator)
