Because I normally play an expose and experimental interface Chiraneau, and let Echo do the heavy lifting against Dash (which is usually pretty easy). Considering aa predator and engine Chiraneau now to battle control and swarm builds, however much I love the 4 attack dice.
PtL or VI on Dash Rendar?
I like Lone Wolf myself. I played in a tourney recently and ran 3 prototype a-wings with refit and Dash with lone wolf, title, hlc, and recon specialist. Worked very well.
Tried the line wolf and recon specialist Dash, but felt very limited in the maneuverability area. How should one fly that dash versus the ptl dash to avoid people getting into the donut?
I didn't feel limited at all. I felt it gave me a ton more freedom with my dial (not being locked into greens) but I did face a couple of other turret lists and the rerolls helped considerably. What few ships that tried to roll up on me to block I flew right by them and blasted them with the cannon. Nobody was able to close to the doughnut hole.
I also used the three a wings to block and flank. They were a lot of fun to fly with the Outrider.

Don't use the Outrider title.
Or use it with a Mangler cannon once Wave VI comes out.

That's a cool build. I usually use Corran to deal with phantoms and Fat Han, but may try A-Wings, Y, or HWK soon. I'll give the build another try then. I do think it has good potential and it allows me to use Corran at full build.
