So, yesterday I plunked down for Armada (and the Raider -class corvette for X-Wing).
What about you guys? Is a core set of Armada already destined for your hands?

ordered 2 cores boxing day. When i figure out how many points per ship I'm gonna need for my collection I will determine when and how many of the expansions i need
Edited by stormquiverI pre-ordered mine a short while ago... The worst part is that we still don't even have a release date yet!?!
Oh... I ordered a core set and a second Nebulon and Victory
I ordered the expansion sets separately so they don't hold up my core set... In case they are released at a later date
Edited by Cannis0013I'm in for a Core & Wave 1

All of Wave 1?? ****, I thought I was living on the edge by investing in a core set before I know if I'm going to 1) like it, or 2) have local friends to play with.
I have made it a policy not to preorder X-Wing, and I will continue to do that with Armada. In general, FFG's (actual) release dates are known far enough in advance that I only have to wait a week or two at most to order ships. I find that not obsessing over when my order will ship reduces the hits on my SAN.
I've peordered the core and wave 1. It was pretty much all of my discretionary fund that I have been saving over the last year and a half just in case something epic was announced...and it was!
Likewise...core and all of wave 1. I saved cash for a couple of months for this purpose

Sure, that sounds reasonable.
I make it a point to pre-order from my FLGS. That way I do them a (semi-)solid, while also getting a 15% discount. Furthermore, they have a modest customer loyalty program, which amounts to a 4% discount. While that 19% pales in comparison to what Amazon or Miniatures Market can deliver, I do get to help keep the FLGS in business. Beyond that, it just kind of gives me a feeling of being at home base when I play there.
I was lucky enough to play a demo of Armada at GenCon, and that alone was enough to make me pre-order one of everything; core, wave 1, even dice.

I ordered the core and the wave 1 expansions in separate orders as well. Can't afford to have any additional hold-ups!
2 Cores. Saw a deal I couldn't pass up.
Plan to get the rest of Wave 1 at some point as well.
Ordered the core set. Waiting till I play a few games to make sure I like before I put money down for expansions.

Ordered 2 core sets and a separate order for 1 of everything else in wave 1. I had to use up the remaining part of my 2014 gaming budget or next years would be impacted...

I most act upon your game budgeting wisdom, my master
In for one Core & wave 1 Imperials. I will be adding Wave 1 Rebs by year's end.
