So, Fleet officer is only like 3 points, and for the cost of a stress token it gives two supporting ships focus.
stress tokens are ignored on huge ships.
Is there a reason not to bring this?

The action economy of large ships is pretty tight. Given the other things it could be doing, I don't know if two focus is good enough.
It depends what actions the Raider has natively. I expect it will be able to do a fore & aft action each turn, and potentially have a new action alongside those used by existing Epic ships.
Jam, Co-ordinate, Recover, Reinforce, Target Lock... plus potential actions from Raider crew cards, and it might have a lot of competition.
That said, Fleet Officer is a freakin' amazeballs crew card.
looking at the Raider's base insert i think it reads:
Fore: Reinforce / replenish
Aft: Target lock / Coordinate
I guess you'll want to target lock every turn and reinforce (or replenish if it goes that badly),
but I guess you could stand to not reinforce and use a Fleet Officer on the fore section perhaps,
depends all upon the unknown cards/mechanics for the Raider, Iam basing this upon my experience with the CR90...
screw that, Darth Vader on Raider. Triggers as many times as you have weapons, then simply recover back all the shields
Mara Jade + Ionization Reactor (from Transport) is also another interesting idea

Doesn't work...
Lets say you have 3 hardpoints. That means 6 damage from Vader, all to one section. That takes it down from 4 shields 8 hull to 6 hull left. If you use reinforce you can get at best 4 shields back for a cost of 4 energy. Which means you can't charge all 3 guns again, so you could shoot every other turn perhaps.
All at a price of doing 3 damage to the other guys ships.
Ya, not a good way to use vader imo.
Especially on a ship that'll cost well over 100 pts.
Be cheaper to use Omnicron with gunner and vader.
Actually it's not a bad idea in epic play.
I'm sure it'll have something like coordinate like the rebel ship has.
But I wonder what other tricks it'll have.
Rebels is synergy and imperials is more for one self.
Maybe it'll introduce more synergy with imperials?
Maybe the emperor will cause a crit on a stress ship?
Or maybe work opposite like vader
Do one dmg to a ship and recover one shield
Edited by Krynn007Will need to see the titles. Rebels already have a CR90 title that lets it hand out two actions per turn, and those actions can be anything on the target ship's array of actions.
I was just reading the above post but wow.
Coordinate with Fleet Officer? What a combo. Free Focus plus Additional Action assuming they are not stressed.
And with Mara Jade a stress to enemy ships too.
