Are there any sleeves out there for the large character cards?
How To Sleeve the Large Cards?
I've got easy access to a laminator + supplies and so I'd just planned on doing that with mine unless someone knows a reason why that would be a bad idea?
they have sleeves for postcards and they fir into those. the sleeves are a little long, but you can cut them down.
I dropped by the Business Depot and they will laminate anything that fits onto a regular sheet of paper for $2 (Canadian). I can fit 2 hero cards per sheet, so that will cost $6 plus tax. Pretty cheap and good solution I think.

I laminated mine at work. Some people claim that sometime down the road (years??) the laminated sheets can/may come apart and thus you may spilt the card/paper. But I don't worry about it since it would be easy to scan it and print them. And since they will only ever be used in friendly campaigns I can see no "proxy" issues.

Ask if they do "10 mil" lamination (that's the thickness of the laminating material). I used 10 mil for my Twilight Imperium 3rd Edition race sheets, and it's AMAZING. It's far superior to the regular "3 mil" (or even 5 mil) lamination. If I was laminating my Hero cards, I'd go with 10 mil thickness for sure.
