What is your favorite Star wars action figure?
For me it's gonna be from the vintage Kenner line.

Sadly the only figures i have left are darth vader and this little fellow; Wicket the ewok
I think back in the day i used to love my 'luke in stormtrooper disguise' as he was great for recreating bits of ANH but also doubled up as an extra bad guy when you needed loads of stormtroopers (if me, my mate Mark and my mate Jason who were my neighbours got together i think we could field an epic total of seven stormtroopers between us!)
My fave ship was my Y wing.
I also used to have the ewok village, everyone hates ewoks now but i loved them at the time, it also had loads of cool features.
Worst one was the 'star destroyer' playset i got cheap in a january sale with xmas money one year. It had zero relation to anything seen in the films other than darths meditation chamber... everything else on it looks cheap and thrown together... i think i only bought it because it was stupidly cheap in the sales (probably because no one wanted it) and i had *exactly* that amount of cash from my relatives who didnt know what to buy me and had put a fiver in a card or whatever
I bought a few of the 'new' ish ones from toys r us in the late 90s.
They were so much better made than the ones from the 80s and actually *looked* like who they were supposed to be.
I rememeber having 'farmboy luke' with the lightsabre up his arm as a kid
bright yellow hair and black eyebrows... looked nothing like mark hammil!
I am partial to the Black Series 6" figure myself. My prototype Boba Fett looks awesome along side the regular Fett. Tried to get the Pilot Luke signed by Mark Hamill at this past Star Wars Weekend.
Bossk.
Harlow Toy and Model Shop, October 1981. First Star Wars figure I ever bought (closely followed by the Luke X-Wing Pilot figure as my Nan had bought me the X-Wing for my Birthday!).
6" Black series for the win. It's so amazing.
The new 6" black series is amazing. But I do still like the 3.75" figures more because they all are the same size.
My fav would have to be the Gamorrean Guard from the Vintage Collection. He's just SO much better than any previous gamorrean figure, and he looks so true to the movie. I love when they use non-plastic/rubber material too.
Another favorite is Bossk. Great articulation for his non-standard body-type. And he's so cool looking.
I really cant remember what my first figure was.
I bet it was something rubbish like 'power droid'
I have a feeling it was luke xwing pilot though.
I know the *last* one i bought was han solo in carbonite, came with a clip open 'carbon chamber'
Last one I bought (from the original line) was Bib Fortuna. I walked into my local newsagent aged fifteen and for some reason the guy who owned the shop had some how got his hands on about thirty of them. All the same character. I'd always wanted one, so bought one. Ten years later there were still about twenty-nine in the shop!

Is there a prototype Boba Fett in black series?
I have the mail away and Macquarie ones
Edit
So apparently pics off my phone size are too large to upload.
Any suggestions
It's nice to finally see i can share images, but everything is on my phone as I take pics of my figures/games
Edited by Krynn007The 2008 vintage collection Millennium Falcon, also known as the BMF is the greatest action figure of all time. Yes, I consider the Millennium Falcon to be a character, not a prop. The BMF is not just a toy, it is a piece of art.
I would have worn this thing out if I had it when I was a kid.

PS: For original toys, I loved my original Kenner Jabba the Hutt.
Edited by EastCoastBosks cool outfit is apparently an RAF jet pilots gsuit from the late 50s. Bo shek wears the same model but in black in the cantina in mos eisley
I cant find one anywhere in the UK,,,,

All I can say is, where can I get one?
I had one of the highly articulate Stormtroopers from the fancy line a while back. Sorry I cant be more specific, but it was great. Sadly, his torso has yellowed with time.
Ship-wise, gotta be the Republic Gunship. I grew up while the prequels were coming out, so I don't have the PT-hate that many do. The LAAT has to be one of my favorite ships.
While I do love me some action figures my favorites still has to be Star Wars Legos, especially the UCS line.

Bo Shek... one of the best pilots on the old Decipher Star Wars CCG! Wow flashback!
Mine is probably my vintage 12" Boba Fett. Still have him standing guard on my bookshelf.

"Looked like who they were supposed to be"!?
You must have forgotten about these beauties!
I have collected the full range of 1977-1983 action figures complete with accessories. When I return back home I will hunt down the remaining POTF figures from 1983 (the range of action figures they released after the ROTJ line). Some of these are hard to get AND can be quite pricey.
If my house was burning down and I had a chance to save either my wife or my toys .... yeeeaahhhh .. tough question.
