I've been to ground zero once and occasionally to the mall in reading but 'fun' stuff is normally in the midlands, i only really go down south for work reviews or working on events im helping run (like ucap sandpit for our 1980s afghan games)

Bizarrely enough, living in wokingham, eversley and the mall are probably my closest sites but I've not been to either yet. Hopefully this year if work slackens off. Booked an xwing tourney next week so that's cutting into my skirmish time.

My wife and I like to do the Ren Fare. I too have a swashbuckler costume and also a French Navy Commodore that's the wrong time period but I like being rude to everyone. She of course goes as the mandatory wench. My first costume my mom made for me as a little kid. It was a turtle costume for a Noah's Ark party we did. But that quickly turned into a Ninja Turtle outfit.

We had a Viking type of wedding ; nott authentic or Scandinavian rituals...Theme song was our processional entrance...
