The TIE Defender will always be my favorite ship...

I really like the rebel ships. Even the HWK. Even the E-Wing.

But I cannot let the rebels win.

I purposely fly poorly against people that are rules lawyers to annoy them.

I chop down trees .....

My favorite ships are Y-Wings and TIE Bombers.

I intended to only fly Imperial ships but have so far flown rebels in 50%(ish) of my games. I also really like Imperial v Imperial games (and not just 'cos I know it annoys Gadge!)

I only started reading the EU because of this game

I don't know anything about EU and... I think the prequels are not that bad, I even enjoy them

I run dual Defender lists all the time, I'm addicted to Soontir Fel, and I'm kind of disliking big ships.

One of my favorite things to do is to put all the ships and upgrades back in their specific boxes and bags.
It's like tucking them into bed after a battle.

I have a joke where one of my opponents really hates certain choices I make. So in my head canon 'Echo' is actually Oddjob from Goldeneye, with a golden gun, leading a small warband of shadow warriors from mordheim.

Because of this game I am back to being a huge star wars / imperial nut, and am getting a TIE Pilot suit for cosplay.

Edit: Lastly the shelving rack I store my ships on is referred to as the hangars. I have considered - many times - printing out prints of the star wars hangar bays and plastering it on.

heheh, odd but i can understand it.

My wife has her generic ships id numbers as prime numbers and it really annoys me as i like to have them sequential by squadron.

So my A wings are 31, 32, 33 etc

B wings are 21, 22, 23 etc

(in my head its '2nd flight, 3rd ship... like 'this is two one calling in' )

Sians out of sequence numbers bug me but they make her happy as shes a maths geek

Girlfriend: Didn't you play that already this week?

My girlfriend hates my gaming addiction as well and uses it against me in arguments..and it pisses me off because I dont get to Play the game but maybe once a month with a fellow Army vet who has PTSD real bad..he likes playing Rebels and I live the Empire so it works out great..i just tecently gave him one of my X-wings from the game because he loves X-Wings and Z-95's I never play Rebels anyway.. I cant for the life of me understand why she has this hate against my x-wing gaming stuff...its the only tablr top game I play any more and I hardly get to play it ...then she wants to say well you dont play it with me....why? When you show no interest in it whatsoever andyou use it as a way to try to hurt me in arguments...think I need to fire her as a girlfriend

I buy X-Wing miniatures for use with Edge of the Empire.

Yeah my wife never seems to get along with my gaming... it's actually quite frustrating.

I admit that I like flying things that people say are bad. I've come in top 3 in events with Vader and Tie Bomber w/ ordnance. I've used Expose on a variety of ships to see if it really is that bad. I still like flying X-wings and love flying Porkins w/ R5-D8. I've come in 3rd at the last event with a Defender.

I admit that I get happy when someone puts a TL on Dark Curse and I don't say anything.

This is my first post ever.

I got into this game because of Kyle Katarn and the Moldy Crow. And I don't fly him anymore cause he's the first to die every game.

Funnily enough, I put my HWK back in its little blister pack today, with the very real intention of never taking it to my FLGS ever again.

Confession 1: I have done the same as OP, Etahn and Corran, and I enjoyed it. Will do it again sometime. In general I really like E-wings, unfortunately they're a bit expensive to run the way I'd like to.

Confession 2: I ran A-wings all the time even before Rebel Aces came out.

Confession 3: I hate Fat Hans and Phantoms, I want to see them all explode in giant balls of flame. Luckily we don't have much of a meta here.

Confession 4: I've only flown small ships despite playing this game since Wave 2.

I have a morbid fascination with taking Dash with VI, navigator, outrider and autoblaster to the table… It's difficult to beat high-health, low-agility ships (which is why I bring a few Z-95s to the table with it) but everything that depends on agility to survive is absolutely terrified of it XD.

I also loved flying Arvel the few times that I tried him, particularly my last attempt which ended up with Arvel (with daredevil) vs Dark Curse, which was a beautiful matchup as DC would move first and I could use daredevil to ram him (if I missed with my maneuver) and then shoot. He may not be optimal but boy was it fun trying to ram people every turn, which, now that I think about it, is probably why I'm using Oicunn a lot lately...

I don't play nearly enough to be considered worthy of the competitive scene... but dammit, I'm still going to try.

I get way too excited whenever I update my storage system or get a new Plano box. Then I spend an evening meticulously re-organizing my whole fleet. My ships are much better organized than my room or office!
