So one of my players got his hands on a Golan Arms FC1 Flechette Launcher from Dangerous Covenants. Only issue is that we can't find any info regarding how much either ammo type costs, which is pretty important for a weapon with the Limited Ammo quality.
Flechette Laucher Reload Cost?
Away from book ATM, but would a comparable grenade price do?
That works for the anti-infantry ammo, but there is no grenade that matches up with the anti-armor option.
AP nades from AoR cost 100 credits...rarity 6
Edited by GhostofmanAP Grenades don't have Breach or Vicious though. I'd honestly consider making the anti-armor ammo cost several hundred credits a pop, considering how powerful they are. Thermal Detonators, which do twice the damage but don't go through armor as well, are 2000, so maybe that's a baseline I could use.
Several hundred credits a pop... a flechette launcher, loaded, costs 2500 to buy.
I'd go with the 10% rule myself. A new clip would cost 250 credits.
Is the launcher reloadable? Perhaps its a disposable system that fires its four (?) shots and then you recycle what's left.

Each barrel in the device can be loaded separately from the others, so it’s not one “clip” that you reload with. It’s much more like re-loading missiles. And given the amount of damage done by this thing, I’d say individual missile prices would be a good benchmark for pricing the individual reloads for the flechette launcher. The launcher itself doesn’t include that much technology (beyond the system to set the detonation point), so when you buy one of these things it’s more for the ammo than anything else.
So, maybe 200-250 Cr per flechette round? Or perhaps even more? Maybe 500 Cr per flechette round?
With regards to comparable modern systems, I’m thinking that something like M202 Flash would be very similar to this flechette launcher. The launcher itself is very simple, and the primary thing it contains is the ammo.

500CR is on the order of a Concussion Missile price. 200-250 seems like a good upper bound.

You're paying for the size and skill used for Thermal Detonators. You can easily hide them in your pocket and throw them with Ranged (Light) which everyone has- and they're one of the few concealable weapons capable of seriously damaging vehicles.
I think 100-200 a pop is reasonable, a rack of six missiles costs 500 (or roughly 83 creds for one) and as Toaster mentioned, 500 also gets you one vehicle scale missile. Personal scale ordnance probably shouldn't cost as much as the ship fighters are throwing out.
