Is Bacon becoming overpowered.

I should not have read this thread again. Being ill at the moment I am limited to eating yoghurt :(

Now I want to eat fried eggs with bacon!

TONIGHT...

I WILL MOSTLY BE EATING...

BACON, BRIE AND CRANBERRY PANINIS.

For dinner I had charred brussel sprouts with lardons and mint - it's a surprisingly tasty combo (recipe idea stolen from a local Argentine restaurant)

Bacon flavored yogurt! That's what we need!

:) Nooooo! Someren things surely don't mix

:D

Oh come on! :D If baconade works then this should work to!

Also: Get well!

I DIDN'T HAVE MY BACON, BRIE AND CRANBERRY PANINI.

I HAD PASTA INSTEAD.

WITH A BACON & TOMATO SAUCE.

All the best meat seems to take some time to cook if you want it done right.

The best meat is not cooked at all, but we make great things out of the b-grade meat with lots of time.

Though this evening I must have oven-baked salmon with potatoes, grey shrimps, leek, rosemary, cream and cheese :)

Good point about the baconade, how does it taste I wonder?

Aaawww yeah man! Tuna sashimi (salmon is good to, but tuna's the best), soy sauce and saké. That's all I need.

Luckily Hasselt has a few places that serve sushi/sashimi to bad (tuna) it's so expensive.

Too much chopped, processed and reformed pork on the forums right now, not enough bacon.

Though raw beef is awesome as well, not only in sashimi, but for example in Carpaccio, etc as well.

edit: And we have here finally decent salmon sushi in the supermarket. Shopping became drastical more expensive with those little sushi treats, does not help that this supermarket is full with italien bacon and cheese as well, perfect for cold cuts on fresh dark rye bread.

And now excuse me, I think I there is still some Prosciutto in the fridge, which is btw the ultima proof that bacon is not overpowered, because it is dry-cured ham. *G*
