I've got the Rebel Transport and first time I used it, I made it as a tank. But I'm also looking for other builds for it and just can't seem to find a good combo.
Hopefully you fine folks on here have some suggestions.
Thanks,
Doug

First thing first, are we looking at 200 team or 300 solo build limit and what do you like flying with it?
I suppose I could have stated that. . Sorry about that
Looking at 200 pts and even 300pts
Currently have:
3 XWings
2 YWings
2 BWings
1 AWing
Is that a Rebel Aces pack or a separate A-Wing?
Wondering if you have some crew-members
Edited by DagonetTransport, Frequency Jammer, Duty Free, Dodonna
Close support:
2 x Gray Squadrons, Ion Cannon Turret, R2
And the XXBB Bloody Daggers list.
Some upgrades here and there, 200 points. No named pilots. PS4 all around.
For 300 points, you can upgrade into higher PS pilots and upgrades.
Separate packs.
Only crew members are from the transport kit

Hmm. Interesting. Never thought of just using PS4 pilots. Was always thinking of using characters

Ideally, Bloody Daggers uses Advanced Sensors, but they are out of reach if you don't have Lambda shuttles so I'd give them FCS.
Don't forget that Biggs may work to protect your fighters, huge ships can still be attacked.
Use the Jam action to double stress a ship at range 2 and possibly even 1 at range 3. Bombers and Phantoms first.
Use Dodonna to crit the Imperial dogs into oblivion.
I use a 1/450 scale model of the Serenity as a transport in my epic games. I use: Bright Hope title, WED repair droid (Kaylee), Navigator and engine booster (Wash), Expanded cargo hold, and a Comms booster (Mal). It works great for setting up brutal rams and supporting nearby ships. ![]()
GR-75 Medium Transport (30)
Targeting Coordinator (4)
Comms Booster (4)
Slicer Tools (7)
Comms Booster (4)
Dutyfree (2)

A build I plan to try soon
You might want to drop the Duty Free in favour of the Quantom Storm, that's a very energy hungry build you've got there.

Can't you just add that, rather than drop DF?
Yes and no
Comms Boster is only used if you have a ships with stress every turn in range dispite having comms boster i do not want to stress my ships to much
Slicer tool is mostly to scare then punish your opponent. If turn 1 you stress turn 2 you slice its only going to use 1-2 energy every second turn unless you get close to PTL interceptors
Targeting Coordinator is the card i would use each round and its only 1 energy
I know a lot of you would be thinking what about the recover action well i don't always use it even on the corvette. if my opponet wants to waist time shooting a ship that cant attack ill let them and punish them for it by focusing my energy on stronger attacks
Quantom Storm is the best title but if im running slicer tool im taking Dutyfree
what i realy want is to make Bright Hope and Shield Projector work but i think Shield Projector should work for more then 1 attack (2 if you have 6 energy)

They are both titles, there can be only one.

It doesn't? I see no limiter on the card?
the limit is that it only forces attacks from 1 ship not all attacks against the ship you would use Shield Projector to protect
maby it could be used against the raider forcing a ship with 3+ guns to shoot at you instead of the falcon. but i still dont know will have to test it when the raider comes out

Yep. Forgot about that lol ![]()

Ah, I get you, you were hoping it would read in effect something like.
Spend 3 energy. Choose another friendly ship at range 1-2. You are now Biggs where attacks on that ship are concerned.

yep how awsome would that be ![]()
I'm fond of Quantum Storm, Comms Booster, Backup Shield Gen. and Retrofit. Passing out tons of Focus and getting rid of stress works beautifully for the fighters, while also letting you repair a little bit each turn without needing to devote to Recover unless absolutely needed. If you don't trust dice (and I don't) it lets you exercise really decent attacks while still having defensive measures! A really fun option are ships with Opportunist that get the benefit of TL and Focus for the boosted attack. Wedge hits like a truck when built this way.
Hi all,
I'm working on a game for later this week. Three factions. Imps v rebel v scum. It is a good way to allow three of us to roll dice at one time. So I made a 3 x 5 ft board. Plan is to try and push my rebels with the transport across it while sluggin it out against my foes. I'm also hoping they don't join up against me...
Victory conditions are going to be points based with a bonus for removing the transport.
The other times I have played the transport I went for low PS and high numbers.
This time I'm using a mixed bag with a lot of action and focus synergy.
I'll post the builds sometime soon and results.
Im just getting ready for the raider though really!!
I've seen two build archetypes that are really impressive, to me.
The first I played against: Stress/Control. Thing used the Jamming action insanely well, and butchered my mobility.
The second I play: RAMMING SPEED. Fly straight at 'em, and flatten as many as you can.
Go with the Bright Hope title; you want to take as little damage as possible.
Go with an Engine Booster; you want to get some more bang for your flattening buck.
Go with a Backup Shield Generator; you want to negate even more damage
Other upgrades are optional; Wed 15, Crewbacca, R2Dcrew, and Combat Refit all add more survivability, but aren't necessarily better than the 41 point base.
