I know I'm planing on getting some- I was hoping that right after christmas I could stock up pre-announcement but I guess I missed that.
I doubt it. Most people already have at least 1, and with the new ship they'll get a second. How many lists are really going to require 3 or more? I'd expect very few. Granted I'm considering a list with 8 of them myself, but that's only because they are my 2nd favorite ship.
i'm making a run on Raiders.
I just took my B&N 30% coupon and ran to the local store. Picked up the last one they had. I got my second hawk last week.

MM is already out of stock, but my FLGS has plenty and I'm...almost the only one who buys ships there
Bought 3 TIE/Ad when they were released. Same with the Y-Wing. I'm psyched & my fleet is ready.
Use in-store pickup to verify in-stock.
I asked for an Advanced for Christmas to avoid having to spend money on one myself. I guess I made a good call though with it and buying a Raider, I'd only have 3.
Got 3 TIE Advanceds already. Bought 'em when I was first starting to play and I thought having a 3-ship squadron would be pretty cool, nevermind how *useful* they actually were in the game. I found that out much too soon.
After today, they look like a long-term investment that's gonna pay off well 
Makes me wish i picked it up at my FLGS when they were $10...
But i still think the 3rd bomber and 2nd defender were a good call.

Well if that is the case then im sitting pretty since I already have two from the original release from wave 1

That should've been opened and fruitlessly used in an attempt to prove good flying can overcome inferior ship design a long time ago. (It can't by the way-not unless you have polar opposite dice rolling to me anyway...)

Sigh.. I have 5.. and, I just repainted one that is a hair darker than their repaint.. lol... I think I'm good, just need to finish with one more repaint, its a dark grey and black number, should be hard tonsee on a black mat.. lol.
In anticipation of thisni have a Vader Stele and Tempest build I was toying with. All I need to do is drop one Prock and that gives me the 3 points for the title and ATC. Need to see these new pilots though, some may be more fun that Stele.. the spoiled one gets free TL in range 1.. he'll be a definite possibility..
Might go AC on the Tempest though, seems like solid advice so far...
I've just got the one that I use for Vader. I'll obviously get another with the Raider.
At that point I'll have a dilemma. I'm not really angling to get any more, but if I sell off (or give away) my spare upgrades, the I won't really be able to change my mind.
i've got 1 for Vader, will get one with the Raider and just in case I ordered another today along with my last TIE/LN to bring me up to 8. I only play casually with friends so will be fielding Vader and Marek with the new cards soonest.
