How will the new Advanceds affect Fat Falcon builds? I can already think of a few nasty anti-Falcon builds it will be fun to try ![]()
I definitely think this will shake up the meta.

A lot is going to change before the Advanced will be out that I'm not sure Fat Han will be the Ship the beat. What ever the meta is like though the Advanced will make a splash.

True, there's all the S&V to come before then. Imperials will still be having A hard time with Falcons though. I don't see the Falcon builds disappearing, but of course I could be wrong.
I hadn't thought about what this would do to Fat Falcons...The guaranteed 1-damage helps to counter C-3P0s guaranteed evade, and then anything on top of that actually goes through.
I, for one, am glad that I got into this game as early as I did so I'm not playing catch-up with all the stuff that's been released
It (and Greedo) are going to make Leebomination a popular build. Fat Chewie as well, to a lesser extent.
Notably, both are PS 5.
I think Super Dash is going to move to the top of the heap over Fat Han. Fat Falcons will still show up but they won't be the dominate ship to beat like before. I'm not sure what S&V ships/builds are going to shine, but the new Boba looks like he can shake things up. Auto Thrusters will also change things. Defense minded Fat Falcons are going to have a Hard time hurting them. C-3PO will stick, but the other upgrades are going to shift around as the meta changes. Decimators could also make it up there, but I'm not sure what to fly with them.
I honestly don't think the Advanced is going to become top-meta quality, even with the new cards. They certainly help, but I think they just bring it up to the middle of the pack with the rest of the current also-rans.
The TIE advanced is very durable and can now bite back too. It's like a bulkier TIE interceptor: it can't dance as well but it sure can take a few hits. Against a ship that can't be arcdodged, that extra two health counts and the inferior dial doesn't hurt nearly as much. I think the Falcon has much to fear from the TIE/x1, especially ones with Advanced Targeting Computers. The ATC encourages you to pick a target and stay on it to maintain action efficiency (you can't spend the lock and have to re-lock to go for a new target), and against a Fat Falcon that's not hard. They've also got the speed and maneuverability to block Falcons and the pilot skill too. Fat Han has much to fear, especially from the ultimate FCS 24-dice Cluster Missile Alpha Strike. Chewie may be safer from the ATCs but Chewie doesn't shoot firs
I'm more interested in how they'll tackle the Phantom, given they maneuver just a little better than X-wings. The Advanced has now got its other (now utterly brutal) PS9 back into the game. Vader saw some play even pre-fix, now he's going to be a juggernaut on par with the equally expensive Fel.
I'd actually be worried about it encroaching on the interceptor were it not for the interceptor's new Autothrusters.

If it shows up at something like Worlds in more than a token appearance then I'm happy.
