I had just assumed the ac was a "primary weapon" deal.

YT-1300 rolls eight defense dice. Eight defense dice without tokens cancel three attack dice. Thirteen damage kill even named pilots.
YT-2400 rolls 16 defense dice. 16 defense dice without tokens cancel six attack dice. Ten damage kill every pilot.
At a minimum, both suffer heavy damage.
Edited by dvorYeah it all dependant on evade dice.. I threw 6 dice for a cluster the other day and threw poorly, and the defender rolled well.. 0 hits and no glory for my side... just proves nothing is guaranteed.

Congratulations. You've just persuaded me that I need to buy 2 more Advanced whilst I wait ![]()
I'd like to try AC+Ruthlessness on Vader, for 3 auto-damage each round.

Add in cluster missiles, that's 6 auto damage...
Something tells me AC will be changed to primary weapon only/once per turn...

You need 5 hits to one shot anything in the list (6 for Vader) and a couple of turns of shooting will shred a rebel pancake.
Vader really needs the EU for movement...
I think, just for my two cents here of course, Advanced targeting computer for the high pilot skill Advances, accuracy corrector for the low PS advances, with FCS, Advanced Sensors and sensor jammer being somewhat situational but workable.
A lot of fun possibility to learn of with the new advanced soon however, I'm excited.
My Vader practically 1 shotted a decimator with ATC..... well sort of. The one crit dealt was Damaged Engine, which made it sail off the edge of the map 3 turns later.
Aside from that though, Vader + ATC + predator + EU is quite good and deadly.
