so is the Raider canon? not that i care.. just wondering. Also this kind of puts to rest that FFG cant put any NEW ships into the game.. i mean they can just make them up as they go along... Works for me!!!

Well, they worked with LFL to make it, so that suggests that it is canon.

Is it after A New Dawn (and therefore 'current')?

Was it made with Lucas Film?

Then it's canon.

They said in the article, that they worked with LucasFilm to create a brand new ship, it didn't exist prior to FFG making it.

It may very well be canon, since it could have the LFL story team's stamp of approval. It's also possible we may see it in Rebels at some point because it was per the Lore made around 6 BBY, and that's about when Rebels takes place.

Its a bastard.

A star destroyer was its mother, a Tie Interceptor its father.

How could this happen?

Maybe by bumping into the aft section ...

so is this :)

True is true.

That is certainly what they have said. I'm not sure I trust the LFL story group enough to believe that they themselves understand the "rules as written" that they have said.

That question has also been asked about the Decimator.

So for the Movies there was only 2 capital ships seen on the Imperial side and those were massive and ridiculously massive.

So in looking for other ships they went to the EU which includes the novels, games, even cartoon shows. They found one that fits as a counterpart to the CR-90. The other 2 don't fit in that well.

They didnt find one in the EU...they created an entirely new one.

Big distinction.

I'm just glad there weren't 2 Raiders ob the inside of DS2 when Wegde, Lando and Tycho tried to kill the Skywalker clan.
