Darth Vader - Advanced Sensor

If this has been answered can you point me to the post; I don't see it.

If Vader uses the Advanced Sensor he only gets one Action instead if two. He skips the preform action step which is where he'd normally get the second.

Right?

Assuming you had the new title card for TIE Advanced.

Yep you're right.

Vader misses out on his second action if he uses AdvSens.

It's possible they could errata the card, but I'm not sure how you'd word it that wouldn't either break things or take up too much text to and be fairly confusing.

Wow good catch. That's okay though, much better system upgrades for Vader anyway :)

"Once per round, after performing an action you may take one free action."

Not that I suspect they will. I actually like that Vader conflicts a bit with Advanced Sensors. It stops it from being the automatic choice.

Edit: almost forgot about not spending the TL for advanced targeting - still would need the TL but you'd also have a focus for the attack. Still good odds.

You mean as a change to Vader? That could work. I read that at first as a change to AdvSen and it just didn't make any sense.

I guess the question is will he be the exception to the rule as he is with actions already(having 2, without outside interference). Will FFG decide that the same exception would apply for Adv. Sen.

You could make an alteration to AdvSen;

You may execute your "perform action" step immediately before you reveal your maneuver dial.

Advanced Sensors are inferior to AC and ATC anyway - so no automatic choice here even if he would get his 2 actions
