I use mine with a printed "S-Foils" card. If its in cruise, -1 attack, get a free 1 white straight before preforming your maneuver.

Disagreed, since X-wings already got their fix/expansion in the rebel transport

R7 + Tarn is one of the tankiest and most cost effective ships in the game, a properly kited Wes is a phantom murderer, and most of the astromechs introduced are pretty **** amazing. Luke is also surprisingly tanky, especially against swarms and especially with R2-D2/R5-P9

Add that to the astounding Biggs and the still pretty terrifying (just not vs decimators) Wedge, and you have a ship that didn't need nearly as much help as the Advance (where the generics were substantially over-priced, Mareek was flippin pointless, and Vader was as close to viable as it could be get).

The sky is not falling. In a well balanced game, there is no "worst" ship.

My group was talking about this the other day. In the game's current state (Wave 6 on does not exist yet) the X-wing is over priced. Why would you spend 21 points on an x-wing when 22 points gets you 3 more shields, barrel roll, cannon slot, system slot, and a (potential) crew slot!?! All that for only the cost of 1 evade die, no astromech, and a slightly more limited dial. (This is debatable because of the barrel roll).

No doubt, the x-wing will need to be updated after all of this crazy stuff hits.

The development cycle has a long latency. The Transport was a while ago, it was probably developed around the same time that B-wings were released. You could check the initial announcement date for the transport, and then back up several months from there.

The developers did state in their most recent interview with Scum and Villainy, that they are aware that the X-wing is mathematically inferior to the B-wing, so they are aware of it.

It still has some of the best pilots in the game as people above mentioned...

I disagree. X-wings still have a place as a generic all-around decent ship. It's not a specialist, but it's quite effective when used right. Wes is great with opportunists. Biggs and R2D2. Wedge. I would fly an X over a HWK for sure.

I'm just saying that also the x-wing need a title. with 20-24 pts, i'll never go with a rookie pilot: why spend 21 pts for a rookie when for 22 you could have a blue on a b-wing ?

Blue has no legs. Ships that kite like Dash like something with no legs.

Wrong. Vader takes the crown. He gets 2 actions with no penalty. No other pilot gets that. Now that he can equip AC for free, he is free to take any action he pleases because he doesn't need target locks and focus tokens are mathematically weaker than evade tokens.

Vader is still better though....Palobs ability is great, but it's situational and restricted to certain things.

Vader just gets 2, whenever and whatever.
