No you cant...they are 21 each. The title reduces the cost of the system upgrade, NOT the ship.

Focus and evade every turn and try and kill him.

Vader + DD + Title + Avd. Sensors + EU + Prokects = 39

U-turn Vader. Adv. sensor boost, then Daredevil, then clear the **** stress with a green maneuver! Tycho I have you now!

So many possibilities!

They can via FAQ or Errata simply state that Vader can take the card, the X1 doesn't actually mean anything.

Or as I said above, rule that Darth Vader comes with the title built in since he's already a Tie Advanced X1

Yep, it's really a non-issue. it's trivial to fix any problem.

Like everything else with the Advanced, actually giving Vader a different ship on his pilot card was a silly Wave I problem that they should be able to iron out with errata. I think they picked up on that sort of thing quickly, and I would like to think that's why the YT-1300 pilots don't specify Millennium Falcon on the pilot cards; plus it tied in to the introduction of Titles.

Yes, Vader can use those upgrades.

How many titles do you think will come in the box. If you only get TIE x1 title and you want to fly three or four ships with this upgrade, it could possibly cost you $360, $90(likely price of the raider) x 4 cards.

So can the ATS be used with missiles?

Does spending the target lock and flipping the missile card to make the attack count as during the attack, or are they conditions that need to be met before the attack can be made?

Obviously you can get around it with deadeye, and Prockets are unaffected - but ATS + cluster missiles would be very nasty if you can do it

Lots of flaws probably but fun

One other cool thing, Commander Alozen can grab a free Target Lock on anyone he is close to. So with ATC he can always add a crit at R1 without losing an action, and he ALSO has an EPT and fires late enough in the round for shields to be stripped before he fires. He is pretty amazing...

For all you questioning whether or not Vader can take this upgrade, think about what it says on the dial he uses. Seriously, this isn't that hard.

Still, I like the options. The free sensors is one thing a lot of people bandied around. But the Advanced Targeting Computer is where the real fix is happening. Maarek is now very, very viable. Vader with Outmaneuver is going to be tossing some crits out onto the Falcon. And then, we have 4 new pilots coming. Alozen is pretty cool, with the free TL. Synergizes nicely with the new fix. I have a feeling that Accuracy Corrector is not the auto include any more that some would claim.

Since the title and the name of Vader's advance are not unique, there should be no problem with them overlapping (although one is Tie Advanced x1 and the other is Tie/x1)

I am absolutely in love with AC tie potential, just not against fat turreted ships which won't take enough damage at 2 dice per 21+ tie (though the tie does have an excellent defensive profile to soak a few rounds of fire). For them, we need marksman + new system Maarek

That or the calculator ept from the starviper. Since it's already got the AC, I wonder if there are more upgrades in there designed to buff imperial options (like thrusters for interceptors)
