I must have missed this somewhere deep in this thread, but why does everyone have a massive hard on for the Gozanti as a Huge ship? It's 42 meters long according to wookipedia. That's less than half the length of the GR-75. Only 3 meters longer than the Decimator. What drugs are you people taking to even be considering it as viable for a Huge Epic ship?

There are 2 entries for Gozanti on Wookieepedia.

Which is 64 meters long and can carry 4 docked TIE Fighters into hyperspace.

The wookiepedia entry is wrong. It uses old invalidated info. The canon length is 63.8m

Ah, i'm used to using the one with years of use in RPG's. Good ol retcon. Also, it might be of some worth to note that FFG's own RPG uses stats and fluff from the "old" one.

I think this is the only issue with the Gozanti.

People who've seen Rebels will have seen it carrying TIEs. Which, at first glance is absolutely amazing and lends itself to dozens of fantastic ideas from the X-Wing Miniatures Game standpoint.

However, it also means people might be expecting any Gozanti model to be carrying TIEs. Which means if it doesn't, they'll be disappointed.

Which means any Gozanti model would have to be1/270 scale to please everyone.

Which means it would be oversized compared to the other Epic ships.

Which causes problems.

Which means I'm off to Shapeways.

Really? I mean, if base to scale for the big ships, it'd be 2/3 the length of a Transport. That would look awkward on the Huge ship stand. If based to scale off normal ships, it'd be a 1/3 again as large as a decimator. And would still look awkward as all get out.

I never used one. -shrugs- But WotC can DIAF anyway. The only good thing they've done in the last 15 years is 5th edition, and i fully expect them to screw that up in a year or two anyway.

I figure anything that made it into the Raider's blind spot will already be a little messed up, and an ion + vader shot followed by a follow up should sort that out quick.

I was confused for a bit, until I remembered that the Andrasta title can be taken by Imperial Firesprays as well as Scum.

Scum dropping mines _in front of_ a huge ship seems like a good idea, also.
