Ah, there it is!

It would look better without the wings.
click clack.
Doesn't change the fact that it has them on the card(s) and related artwork/canon.
I think it's great that they went to the effort to create a new ship just for this game, but not a fan of the almost prequel-like wings. The rest of it looks cool.
Edited by eliw00dWhere the hell is the pre order button!!!!
And as for the solar panels. Mine will be staying on because it just adds to the bad assery to this ship. A Sith capital ship if I ever seen one ![]()
This looks like a great ship. I Am happy they were able to create a Tantive counter by collaborating with Lucasfilm.
As for the Advanced getting a fix... Wow. Almost no reason to not take the X-1 title with Advanced Targeting Computer. Totally awesome.
Sweet lord almighty, i didn't think my erection could get any worse today.Didn't see it in this thread, anybody postet this spoiled card, that isn't in the text of the raider?
Eh... I think it should give 2 ion tokens. That would make me harder.
I.need.this.one. *drool*
One huge ship vs a swarm did not ring any "this is fun" bells in my mind
Opening sequence of KoTOR did this quite well.
there is an X2 title???
No. I just meant there are 2 of that unknown card. Stupid autocorrect capitalised the x.
SO stoked! Not only for that beautiful Imp Huge, but those TIE Adv boosts!
I disagree. There is nothing kotor "did well".

I like the solar panels. They make sense on a ship that size, given what seems to be it's capabilities. It's unlikely it could fit a engine big enough to support it, so it gets extra energy from the panels.
I also like how it looks. It looks good with them, plus it looks more dagger shaped then then ISD pie shape.
There is some debate as to exactly what the purpose of the wing panels on TIE fighters really are. Official sources state that they are either...
A. Solar Panels- as an auxiliary power source...
or...
B. Heat Radiators- needed to dissipate excess heat generated by the TIE's power plant.
To me, option 'B' makes a hell of a lot more sense. And, that explanation still makes sense on a huge ship like we have here.
I like the overall design but I could have done without the "solar panels" (or at least the lower/forward pair). As for the TIE Advanced... I cannot see what all the excitement is about the paint job... looks like overall light gray to me. "Ooooh, cool, light gray... it looks sooo much sexier than that boring old medium gray!"
I think the Advanced repaint is a steel blue, sort of like the bombers when they showed up in Empire.
And as for the panels on the Raider...ablative shielding maybe? The thing fits inside the primary hangar of an Imperial Star Destroyer, so it's small enough to warrant extra defensive measures.
That looks great...
...and, as soon as I cut off the ridiculous 'giant interceptor' wings, it will be perfect! ![]()
The wings could be all about intimidation as far as I'm concerned. Rule through the fear of force rather than through force itself.
The wings stay on.
I'm gonna buy one and hug it and squeeze it and call it Indefatigable.

I'm wondering if this is gonna be 2 epic points or 3. If it's 2, we're all doomed...
Im guessing 4, and the gozanti will be 1. Just to be different than the CR90+GR75 combo
Again, 4 Epic points has the problem of the Team Epic format. In Team Epic, each player has only 3 epic points to spend, though the team as a whole has no limit. So a 4 epic point ship cannot be used in the format. This has been the problem with a 4 EP ship ever since they first announced the format back when the transport came out.
They had this format because they didn't have any epic ship. It's very easy to modify tournament rules once they need a 4pt Epic ship. Just call it a share epic points pool, or whatever. Hardly a reason to expect them not to make a 4pt Epic.

Just remember, you are able to shoot more than one of them in a turn. So, if you really want to ionized a large ship, shoot it twice. 2 crits is also nice. It will also be good annoy other huge ships.
Edited by SithborgWell done, FFG.
I really dig the look, including the wings. They are what ties it into the starfighter scale like you were going for.
Imperial epic fleets will look amazing with this.
Edited by JaggedLittleFelSo the question now is, is this the only Epic Imperial we're getting? If it is, that's fine. But if there's more, I guarantee it will be a bigger one.

HERESY
Didn't like the wings at first, but they've grown on me.

I think it would make more sense for a smaller ship. This looks like it was designed to fill a similar role as the Tantive IV in the game. A big gun ship. The base looks about the same size too.
Why would they go bigger? This is the gunship. If they put out a second ship it would be different. Maybe support. The Gozanti, as a fighter support ship really seems like it would fit the bill.

I doubt it. There was about 2 weeks between the initial preview of the Transport and the Corvette. I would guess they might follow a similar release.

Why would they get a smaller ship? There no real design slot between the Decimator and the Raider now. A support ship? Lamba's all over that. I highly doubt there will be another big box Imperial release. At least not until Wave 6 get theirs.
