I love all the mechanical stuff about this release. The Fix for the Advanced, how it sounds like this ship will play.
But the actual design really isn't doing it for me. I wish the bridge superstructure was a bit more pronounced, not a lot but a little. I don't like the thickness of the main body, I think it is coming across as more cone shaped rather than a wedge. The solar panels just aren't working for me.
(plus, I really wanted a Gozanti)
I like the solar panels. They make sense on a ship that size, given what seems to be it's capabilities. It's unlikely it could fit a engine big enough to support it, so it gets extra energy from the panels.
I also like how it looks. It looks good with them, plus it looks more dagger shaped then then ISD pie shape.
Why solar panels though. Let's run a poll. Does that look dumb or not?

Also not sure if I'm fond of the fix. Really only accuracy or adv tar are going to be the choices.

I like the panels, it gives a 'bladed' look, looks dangerous. It also ensures that it isn't just a "baby star destroyer".

No worries. I can see how that would be frustrating. I consider myself to be very honest when I debate people and I think my posting history bears that out.

Well I managed to aquire two when they first came out and only played two games with them....now i can knock the dust off them and put them back in service

I picked up a couple after talk from Alex and Frank hinting at upcoming changes for them. ...not that they won't be available by the time the Raider comes out. However, having the three total makes me want the Raider even more so I don't know if having ordered them was actually a good thing for me or not.
