First store championship....list ideas

Hi all....i'm attending my first decent sized tournament (32+ players) soon, and would like some advice on list ideas. Here's a few i've been throwing around in my head so far:

Captain Oicunn — VT-49 Decimator 42

- Intimidation 2

- Ysanne Isard 4

- Gunner 5

- Intelligence Agent 1

- Engine Upgrade 4

- Dauntless 2

Bounty Hunter — Firespray-31 33

- Heavy Laser Cannon 7

General idea is for Oicunn to get right into stuff, ideally bumping the priority target, causing damage and activating Intimidation while still getting an action from Dauntless. Then the Firespray slaps it, while Oicunn shoots targets of opportunity.

The intelligence agent was to make up a last point, but after thinking about it i think it could be very useful anyway so that i know where to boost to to block stuff.

Second one is probably a bit more "standard":

- Lone Wolf 2

- Ysanne Isard 4

- Gunner 5

- Rebel Captive 3

- Engine Upgrade 4

"Echo" — TIE Phantom 30

- Outmaneuver 3

- Fire-Control System 2

- Advanced Cloaking Device 4

1 point initiative bid, but i could increase that if I changed Outmaneuver for Lone Wolf or VI.

And the last is my stab at a Dash/Corran:

Dash Rendar — YT-2400 36

- Push the Limit 3

- Heavy Laser Cannon 7

- Nien Nunb 1

- Engine Upgrade 4

- Outrider 5

Corran Horn — E-Wing 35

- Push the Limit 3

- Fire-Control System 2

- R2 Astromech 1

- Hull Upgrade 3

Any advice or changes you'd make? I have access to at least 1 of everything (card and models), so go nuts.

I have only tried two ship builds with decimator in friendly games, but in a tournament they can go down so fast from 1-2 rounds of solid focus fire.

I think getting in close to your opponent is a bad idea.

Especially if your lower ps than him.

With two ships you have one ship worth half or more your squad pts and in a times game where MoV can matter if it's easier to kill then that is what your opponent will go for.

If he kills that you have to kill 2-3-4 of his ships to make up for the point score difference

I think taking outmaneuver off echo and veteran instincts would be better and get the possible initiative.
