Rebel Control

Here's what i'm thinking about flying, tell me what you think.

2 Prototype Pilots w/ chardaan refit. 30pts

2 Blue Sqs w/ E2 and Tactician 50

Blount with Ion Pulse Missile 20

A-wings for blocking, B's give stress and fire power, Blount ions high priority target.

While Blount was a crowd favorite after his Wave 4 preview, he's unfortunately seen little time on the field. With only PS 6, he's going to have a hard time lining up a shot on his preferred target. Deadeye would help him out.

I've used him a few times but haven't been too successful. His ability is a beautiful shot of opportunity, but I found I was having everything set up just right to really capitalize.

I like Cracken with VI more. Both A-wings and B-wings are action-hungry and the Cracken can feed them. You can barrel roll the Bs to get an arc on something, or fudge the distance to range 2 and deal stress. You can also boost your A-wings past the ship they just blocked and target someone else.

He's more of a "sure thing" synergy, because all he has to do is shoot. Blount is a hail Mary build. Then, again, Blount's card art is really cool, so he gets points for that.

There might not be enough "control" in the list. You're only going to ion once (if at all) and the two tacticians, while effective, are too conditional to be reliable.

I think the biggest thing missing is an ion cannon/turret.

If you have 4 points to spare set up the B-wings with flechete torps. Those IMHO are the best torpedoes in the game for their cost. You can get 2 for the same number of points for a single proton torpedo.

Also if you are going for control 1 Ion missile seems not like much. You will need Ion cannons.
