Oh, thanks for the heads up on this!
I've been looking forward to Nature's Ire for a long time! Full co-op Descent is really a great way to introduce new players to the game, and I really enjoy playing it solo as well.
Time to start bugging my local stores to start stocking it ^-^
I guess with the same price tag as the previous opus in the line?

Yes. FFG currently lists it as $14.99 USD MSRP. I know I was able to acquire Forgotten Souls on-line for $9.99 USD. As of right now, Nature's Ire is not available anywhere on-line other than at FFG (at least that I could find).
As much as I hunger for more co-op Descent, with the nine bucks for shipping I'll wait till it hits amazon prime. $25 for a dozen or so cards is more than I can really justify.
Can you mix both coop adventures for more variety? Like the monster and peril decks?

Not as the rules are written.
yesss! wish my local game store got these faster.

(You also need to mix in the exploration decks since they determine the monsters....)
No, by rules and design.
The card backs are different for the two campaigns, the tile sets overlap, and indoor / outdoor tiles have different connection types (male on left side, female on right side and female on left side / male on right side).
So unless you use sleeves for the cards, have 2 copies of the game, and you make up rules for dealing with the 2 squares that are needed for the link between an A side piece and B side piece - the two co-op games are not interchangeable.
I was saddened by this - really hoped for it to be a use alone for a single adventure or add them up for random excitement.

As stated before a complete mix is not possible, however my group is fine with just alternating Forgotten Souls and Nature's Ire during the same quest.
In our faster variant ( Sudden Death at the Cursed Mountain ), there are maximum two encounters at the same time on the table, so we don't care too much about the connections.
