Return of the Jedi vs Return of the King a C3PO Hobbits tale

By Black Knight Leader, in X-Wing

And it has that scene of Luke staring into the (twin) sunset.

And while ANH is the one that started it all, i do like the other two just a tad better.

My mind sais "ESB" but my heart sais "ROTJ" *

* possibly due to my first star wars toys beeing an ATST, Vader, Imperial guard and Logrey.

And Return being the first SW movie i saw. (I was very young, so the whole vader/luke thing wasn't spoiled for me)

Always go with the heart. :P.

I like stories. No, I love stories. I need them and I look for stories in all my entertainment, whether it's reading books, watching movies and series or playing games, table or computer (we play a lot of board games).

Theme over function for me. This game gives me oodles of story, as did ANH. ESB and ROTJ gave more story, but it was EU compared to the foundation.

I really don't like Citizen Kane at all. But some film buffs will claim it's the best movie ever made (despite it being one big plot hole)

Dagonet, have you seen Prometheus?

So what do you think? Loving tribute to Peter o' Toole, or not?

When i was watching Prometheus i was going: " What's up with this? Why is he Lawrence of arabia? I could be watching that instead."

It is a loving tribute to that movie, but it is also because David identifies with Lawrence, standing apart from the group and all that. There's a lot written about the analogies between the two.

I like Michael Fassbender, I think he is a great actor as witnessed in Shame or Hunger, but Prometheus was such a let down. I wanted it to be so much more. ;(.

Back to Alien and Aliens I guess. :P.

For sure, Lawrence of Arabia is one of those "Every ten years I watch it" movies, like Blue Brothers.

It's one of those movies you have to see on the biggest screen possible.

So I'm constantly keeping an eye out for theaters that might sometimes show classic movies.

It was a bad time for the empire...

Oh wait that's not Star Wars! That's from Shogun Assassin. :)
