SuperDash vs Fat Chewie (escalation)

By Earthworm, in X-Wing

I'm looking at changing my escalation tournament list. I presently run a Paul Heaver-style Fat Chewie as the base ship for the 60-point game:

57 Chewbacca w/ Predator + C-3P0 + R2D2 (crew) + MF Title + Engine

I add A wings with hull and Z's in the 90-120 pt games and then a fancy control B-wing at 150.

I've recently been playing the typical Dash+Corran build, and am thinking about ditching Chewie for Dash

58 Dash Rendar w/PtL + Kyle Katarn + HLC + Outrider Title + Engine

I can eat the 1pt difference easily enough, but I curious if people have thoughts about these. Dash would be a little more independent of the scrum that my spam tends to create in the middle games, so may not be super compatible with a blocker-heavy list.

I've loved Chewie's durability, and PS 5 is enough to arc dodge most things, but I have nightmares of him trying to chase down and kill another Superdash.

Thoughts?

Dash does better against Swarms and worse against Phantoms

Which do you think you'll face?

Hyper dash and Farlander are am awfully mean combo, escalation gives you the points to pull it off.

The next escalation I'll be doing is the one being run through Team Covenant, where I expect to see a lot of Dash, Decimator, and maybe fewer Phantoms- basically, a slice of the global meta. (Hence my concern about having to chase down Dash)

My Chewie list did well locally, where the meta was based more on swarms and named (small ship) Rebel lists.
