One of our players pointed how awesome Jubei3 is with I-Spin. They banned LOTM in part because it made I-spin loop go crazy. What is your take? Does Jubei bring Spinta back in to dangerous territory? Or is it as balanced as Seong mi-na?

No, because Tenacious, Seong Mi-Na, and even starter *Rock Howard* work beter than Jubei.

But yes, Jubei + Spinta is still sexy, just not as much so as the other 3 I mentioned.

personally I like seong mi nas symbols better, but jubei does have a 6HS so it could work, though I think without lord of the makai to get back what gets spinta'd he might be better at just spiral arrowing peoplewith brt and bitter to back it up

You just blew my mind Shajir. Takes the need for tenacious out.

Arrow is my favourite attack in ufs, Awesome dhalsim and I are developing a crazy void akuma deck that uses heel snipe and arrows to lock people down. With heel snipe, your akuma commit ability is not able to be negated. I may talk a bit of trash but I can ussually back it up and with chester backing gone, the deck gets soo much better.

It's alright. There's a couple flaws here though. Big one is if Spin fails to deal damage for any reason, Jubei's gimmick falls flat.

Seriously, 3-times I-Spin, and then Tieh Lei made my opponent go "What what? FUUUUUUU...!"

It was funny, especially with 3 Tiger Claws in my discard at the minimum, and a Dragon Punch in my hand to finish him off at the end of the attack string.

some of our guys used dan's taunt to punish ispin players effectively nuking their turns, i heard some horror stories where my buddies would get spinta'd and then taunt and out build their opponents...

And people said it didn't have answers lol

Hell, Miserable Existance screws it, and is a mild slap on the wrist for any momentum deck (oh, Natural Leader? Thank you!)

Jubei isn't bad...but his whole point of not running Tenacious and running Jubei shouldn't be so. You could easily run Donovan, Seong Mi-Na, or Gill than you would Jubei.

I would still run Tenacious in Jubei -- lots of people can hardcheck a 5 to Tag Along his ability, even with their boards completely depleted. You don't have to rely on it, though.
