I've just been thinking about how the Jan and Lando crew cards work together.

Obviously I can use Jan to flip a focus token earned through Lando's action to an evade token - but if I roll 2 focus can I flip them both because they are assigned simultaneously?

I'm guessing probably not at the Jan card states that you may flip "a" focus

But that got me thinking, if I wanted to take the wording on Jan's card absolutely literally, I could interpret that to mean that if I roll 2 focus, I can't flip any of them - because I haven't been assigned "a" focus I've been assigned 2.

I'd admit that's probably stretching it a bit though

Yup, you're definitely stretching it. If you use lando and would receive 2 focus tokens you can use Jan to turn one into an evade... It's not so much taking Jan's wording too literally, it's more taking how Lando works and kind of twisting it around. If you roll 2 eyes you essentially gain 1 focus, then gain 1 focus again. It says "for each eye result rolled, gain 1 focus" - you're just gaining 1 twice not gaining 2 once...
