I'm feeling really stressed lately

By Hrathen, in X-Wing

I don't know about the rest of you but with the recent release of wave IV my ships are taking a lot of stress.

I played in a tournament the day wave IV came out I ended up with five stress token on the board at once, AND I ONLY HAD 2 SHIPS LEFT.

Last night I played in a game where we only hod one ship left and we both had a decimator with a rebel captive. (I also had Mara Jade, just in case he didn't shoot me)

After a little while I just decided not to worry about taking an action ever again.

I am wondering how many of use will try to find 16 extra points to find room for a Black Squadron Pilot with Wingman to just hang around.

I wish it had a better range than just 1. 2 points isn't a lot but 16 just to get it in a list is tough.

Strange. I myself haven't run into any artificial stress in the tournies I go to apart from Rebel Captive, aka the Phantom hard-counter.

If it gets you down, there is basically no better ship for getting it than the Decimator (unless you're fond of tycho). With its no red manuevers, crew offerings, 360 turret, and lack of an evade action title, it's probably the least affected of all ships unless you're trying to work with an engine upgrade.

I recommend alcohol. But then, I always recommend alcohol.

STRESS EATER

Tycho Celchu

+ A-Wing Test Pilot

+ Chardaan Refit

+ Push the Limit

+ Experimental Interface

+ Expert Handling

Keyan Farlander

+ Fire-Control Systems

+ Stay on Target

Jek Porkins

+ Push the Limit

+ Hull Upgrade

+ R5-D8

Obviously your EPTs can get disrupted by other stress-inducing upgrades, but it's a lot of fun to play and for the most part stress can be ignored (or an advantage)! I think stress should play an important part in the upcoming meta, and this list is already ahead of that curve.
