Dariya is SEXY

OMG it's everything I ever loved about Twelve... on a hot chick with a sword. The versatility of using the opponent's cards... and the added bonus of using your opponent's attacks as Reversals... I WANT NOW.

Does anyone remember Mace: The Dark Age? She reminds me of Koyasha.

(Yes, I LOVED Mace: The Dark Age...)

wow...

F commit: get bitter rivals ftw?

I like what she has packing ability wise. She is one of those cards I think balance the playing field and makes it so people question playing really powerful attacks. Here is why I say that. Lets say you are a new player like I am and you do not have have Feline Spike or Spiral Arrow. If you block one of these attacks you can turn the damage, speed, and the effects of that card right back on that person. You don't have a high cost like your opponent does either. Also this means this is the first time we could see a deck with only 2-3 attacks be an agressive type deck. As long as you are packing cards that have blocks you can refersal it up and play an attack or 2 on your turn. This card will make the grey wars more of a big deal because the card she puts face down doesn't have to be an attack to block. Overall I think she will mess with the meta alot because she will stonger attacks more risky to play.

I can't see Feline Spike being that useful to use as a Reversal with Dariya's ability, other than being 4H8 with Stun:2, but I'd rather save the cards in hand for blocking since you can't play multiple from a face down card to begin with.

But things like Ira-Spinta, Kuzuryu Reppa and Rising Hilt are nice to block and return...

Don't like the art, but I'll have to play her.

...what? The card Dariya copies is an exact copy, with Multiples and everything...?

Also, yes, first player 6 hander in a long time. Play her off Water for the card draw, and play plenty of Lynette's Shops =)

Stupid ruling of a multiple of a face-down card...

How is her ability any different than Turnabout? They both say becomes an exact copy of the attack...

Yea...not liking the art, like at all. However, the thought that I can copy my opponent's character is making me want to build this deck...o yes...it shall be fun XD

Since its an "exact" copy and not a multiple copy, I think its in the clear, so it keeps multiple.

Cant wait to play her though > :)

It's more-or-less the same. However, if you Turnabout a Feline Spike <for example>, the Multiple copies have no defined statistics; the speed and damage default to 0, and it has no attack zone (so any block may be played, but it will only deal half damage)

It's weird, yes.

On-topic, I really like her... but, symbol spread is a little odd (IMO), though, and her abilities are really nonsynergistic (you'll likely want to copy a <X> Commit: effect with the first one, so you can't use the second... and if you're building your deck to take advantage of her reactive second ability, her first ability won't find much to help it without committing her)

this is like twelve and morigan all in one package tottally awesome.

Hehe, I thought the same thing! Note that her ability doesn't say 'exact printed copy', o/w she is turnabout lol!

I'm not really sure how playable the symbols will be. And she is obviously very hit or miss...

Still... Anything you can do, she can do better!

Read her abilities again. Her first option commits 1 foundation, not herself. The second one commits her. You can pick a foundation, assest, or character card to copy that doesn't cause you to commit and you will have no problems.

looks like I got a sweet new character to fool around with lol...

Certainly what she can do is impressive, and I'm gonna consider running her if I can find a copy, but I'll say this to anyone running her.

"Don't fancy yours much."

Yes but most abilities on Foundation you want to copy are a Commit cost - hence she ends up Committed and you lose her second ability.

Average card in my opinion unless they rule that she keeps the Multiple Keyword etc. As to copying something like Bitter Rivals - she has All, just play it, it is her strongest Symbol anyway.

What happens if you don't have it on the table and your opponent does?

The thing is that it's not locked to one ability and the best part is that it can copy character CARDS. Lots of character cards have effects that don't commit them that are awesome. The major point I'm getting at is that there are plenty of good cards that go off without commiting or even while commited. Copying an early game valeria's shop would be great. Or if you copy abilities that shut down damage or allow you to heal a large amount. You can build off of All and get some good cards that add icing on the cake and allow you to be more agressive minded. But man it is strong combo to look at.

or if you want ANOTHER one?

multiple Bitter Rivals is never a bad thing

is there any way to play her from on your opponents turn.....first i thought of a new low but it has to be a card played from your hand

I just had an awesome thought of playing her against someone running chun-li and using her ability against them just to show them how annoying it really can be lol

Why would you copy Valeria's Shop or damage reduction? You only have the abilities for the duration of your own turn.

For me it would be used for setting up. There is not restriction of the effect only going off on your turn. If you read it closely it doesn't have the words "your turn" on there.

Right...and if YOU read it closely, you'll see it DOES say "this turn".

Um...Form abilities may only be played during your turn...
