I'd leave off Adversary and give it a hold-out blaster instead, but that's just me.....

I just used wookiepedia . Stated as having a light blaster but I could see hold out as well. Depends on what range you think they should be limited to I suppose. Short may be too little considering they were supposedly used by clone troopers to train. They are also said to be fast moving and unpredictable. Hence the ranks of Adversary and ranged defense. I suppose you could just bump up ranged defense if you so choose, but I like the idea of a possible despair.

Reasonable enough, I see where you're coming from.

It is tough to work out some of these things. Conflicting sources, odd wookieepedia edits... a GMs life is never easy...

how would you do the tuneable nature of them? Supposedly they do multiple levels of stun up to lethal damage?

Do you mean different amounts of damage? As a light blaster pistol it already has the option of regular and stun damage.

In past write ups. You could vary the amount of damage done. From a light stun to a medium stun to a lethal setting.

At least you could do something of the sort with the one in the hero guide for d20

Well the nice thing here is that you can scale the damage as needed since there are no strict guidelines.

what does the group only ranged light 2 mean. does it scale by 2 per minion?

Oh and Thank you these are perfect.

Sorry. Copy/paste error. I made the stat block as a rival, though I see no reason you couldn't use them as minions if you wanted to. Just drop the ranks.

And you're welcome.

Trying to decide which way would be better. I guess as Minions they can become nasty as they work together. Getting 4 yellow.... as rivals they get 5 shots at 2 yellow 1 green....
