Decimator, Doom Shuttle and Firespray vs Tie Defender and Tie Fighters

Hello Everyone!

This is my very first video battle report! Sorry for the lack of side bars or dice rolls, couldn't quite figure out how to make them (yet)! Making this video has given me a new found appreciation to all of the people who have ever made and posted video battle reports!!!

Ok, i love this build.

Its a little naked for my liking, and i might be tempted to tinker (Mara or Fleet Officer instead of Captive as alot will simply try to nuke down the rest of the list first?) but i love the theme of it. All the big ships, all the basic pilots, just soaking up the punishment.

That is so great I made a list with the VT and the shuttle but it didn't occur to me to try it with the firespray as well

I do wonder if, instead of Rebel Captive, upgrading the Decimator to Oicunn with Determination may add some more survivability, more tactic disruption, as well as additional direct damage on top of Vader.

Thanks for all the positive list comments! Unfortunately, I was the one playing with the Tie Defender but I have passed the warm evaluation of the Decimator list to its creator.

I don't think so. The stress for the rebel captive in this game is really what did Rexler in. Had the T/D still had it's action, I would have played the game very differently.

From my experience playing with Oicunn, the damage is a lot of fun, but it also tends to put the Decimator in somewhat odd positions that don't really take advantage of its 360 firing arc anymore.
