What's the range on these- Planetary or Personal scale?

Says on the short range '2km', so I'm assuming that its planetary, did some searching on the forums and there doesn't seem to be any ruling or errata on it.

Its up to your gm. Is there a scenario you're resolving or are you just trying to figure it out?

If it needed a range band for structured play (ie say a speeder chase to get to the parties ship to escape pursuit), I would say that it would fall within the Close bracket of planetary scale ("everything from a few dozen meters up to several kilometres").

In narrative time, it probably doesn't need a range band.

Or, just lash out the extra credits and get the one with a range of up to a parsec and not care about range bands at all anymore!
