Do I need to Sleeve the cards?

By R2-EQ, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

I have Laminated majority of descent first ed just because of the bulk of play time it saw. Second I only laminated the heroes which is quite a few. I imagine I will lam and sleeve everything in IA, because lots of play time coming up

I misread these are actually pretty inexpensive 25 holders for $5. This'll be really easy to split between a few gamers.

Anyone who can verify the size is correct 3x5?

Yeah, I measured about 4" x 5.25".

Who will you be playing with? Are your gaming buddies careful and respectful with your stuff? If so, you might not need the extra protection. Or are they the kind of guys who are kinda careless--eating chips and cheesies and touching your game pieces/cards with greasy hands?

After reading this I laughed. You are right, and I regret not buying the sleeves now. I sleeve all my X-wing cards but don't really need to as I am the only guy touching them. However, in this game there will be FOUR other guys playing. I wish I had considered that sooner.

Time to sleeve up!

This is what I'm doing. Desleeving the xwing cards I don't usually use and sleeving the cards in this game, at least until I can get new sleeves.

I have sleeved with ffg sleeves because of how premium this game is to me. I have also laminated the character sheets and used a guillotine to cut the excess lamination into straight lines around the character sheets. I always laminate big character sheets eh zombicide, sentinel tactics and now this. Looks professional and good job too. First session playing it and some lad spilt his coffee over it. Thank god for lamination. Lamination rules. Did I mention lamination?

**** a sleeving that many cards took a while.

I got a tackle box like thing from the local dollar store for $3.00 and used it for all the tokens and the mini cards. Normal size cards will end up in a binder in pages.

Miniatures and the board pieces transportation is my next figuring out.

Yeah my plan was also to find a tacklebox. Just gotta find somewhere in Copenhagen that sells them

Post a pic of the box with your tokens & mini cards inside?
