Just a fun list I threw together. Wanted to see if I could fit both ships into a list that might be fun to try.

I'm pretty iffy on the inclusion of Navigator on the Oicunn, but couldn't find a better use of the points.

How would this list be better with these two pilots?

How would you make a list with these two ships?

Maybe replace Navigator for Jerrjerrod? He'd provide insurance against a Stunned Pilot, or other negative effects that can really ruin a Decimator's day.

Alternatively, since Oicunn will have so many people in base contact, a Tactical Jammer to protect the shuttle may be of use.

Yeah I was thinking about Jerry. I just was sad about the wasted point since initiative isn't a big deal with this list.

A bomb of some sort isn't a terrible idea for oicunn, people will likely be trying to just get past him to avoid the ram and so may be jumping right I to the blast zone.

I think I initially had a proton bomb on him.

But I also figured Yorr might wanna be close by and was afraid a bomb might hit Yorr. Or just hit Oicunn if he can't get far enough away from it due to him bumping people.

Though I do love bombs. Some of my favorite upgrades...

Honestly, I think I would be willing to ding one or both of them with a seismic charge if it meant I was going to hit 3-4 enemy small fighters too. And you should know before you drop it whether you are going to hit yourself, so you can choose the right moment.

On the other hand, given that oicunn wants to be pointed at the enemy, prox mines might discourage tails long enough to get you turned around even if it doesn't go off.

This should have been named the Bovine Rhino list.. lol.. I have a list like it, and I like teaming these up. need to try it after I get it finalized.

Yeah, Ociunn is more of a Rhino than a Hippo.

A boar more like. Not a pachyderm.

I'm thinking of a thread just a week or so ago, it was all about finding a name for the Decimator, Rhino seemed to be the winner off of that thread, we seem to find nicknames for the large ships.. the shuttle is known as a bovine, or a manatee.. from Sablegriphon.. though ... now that I think about it the Firespray doesn't have a nickname... lol.. I guess we should figure one out.. lol

Personally, I think Rhino fits the decimator perfectly, a it is the ram charger of the ships.

Put on Rebel Captive instead of Navigator, duh!

Why make it hard to fight Phantoms when you can make it just oh so easy?!

Are set on Oicunn? just wondering as his ability really just sounds cool but in reality its not all that useful. Where as Kirk with Ysanne allows you to have a pretty survivable base build once your shields are stripped. and the admiral is nice because of his high PS and his mini focus ability...just saying...

If yorr is included, consider putting daredevil and engine upgrade (to avoid daredevik damage). The reason is you can do the Oicunn Doubletap. You ram. Take stress to do an action. Select daredevil (counts as a maneuver) hit again, then use dauntless again to select another action. Yorr eats all the stress.

Another thing to take with oicunn is saboteur. When you ram, if they have no shields you can do damage and possibly make it a crit with saboteur.

Yorr will likely spend much of the game stressed, so the weapons engineer and fire control system help with the actions. The engine upgrade is to help steer the cow (get it?). The ion cannon is to help oicunn ram things.
