So I've been toying around with the traditional "Super Dash" build, PTL, Kyle, Engine, Outrider TItle and HLC. But keep having difficulty with escorts. I've toyed around with a few, but not found the one that really sits well with me.

So what suggestions do you have? What have you all seen used to great effect, or fly yourself?

Those are the 3 I keep seeing posted. I've only played with Coran and like what he does for Dash. I go with VI (to help against phantoms), FCS (to cater to the double-tap), and R2-D2 (to mitigate the risk of only 2 ships).

I think the last 5 points was gunner on ORS if I remember correctly

Dash puts out a lot of pain while the ORS soaks up damage

I've done the 58 Dash with 2 A's and a Z and I've had 11 wins and 1 loss - 11 of these games have been in casual/game kit tournaments as well, 9 wins in a row before a loss and that was mostly due to bad dice and losing the Z before it managed to shoot.

I like three Talas and putting Proton Rockets on to Dash to help fill the doughnut hole. It has worked out well for me so far! Plus, when you say to someone, "I shoot with Dash, and his Pocket Rockets!" and they look at you and go "I forgot he had those" its just priceless!

I've tended to use somelike corran and also make sure dash has prockets to alieviate the range one 'dead zone' to a degree.

The Outer Rim Smuggler has all upgrade slots filled already. The only place left to put points is the missile slot on Dash.

Corran with R2-D2 and your choice of upgrades seems to be the best I've seen.

Ok I made 1 huge mistake and 1 smaller mistake but other than that

I like these guys as super dash's "wingpeople"

Tycho + testpilot + PTL + Wingman + refit

Tala

Tycho can keep up with Dash and Wingman removes the stress from PTL. Now you have 3 actions with Dash and an open dial so you can fly very fast. Tyco at PS 8 can take stress from Rebel Captive with no worries, but that card really hurts PTL Dash. The Tala is filler that can flank and annoy ships trying to keep up with Dash and Tycho.

My friend was running Dash with HLC, outrider and Lone Wolf paired with Chewbacca with a few upgrades. Was a pain in the arse to deal with since Dash is so mobile, and Lone Wolf is very effective on him.

The idea with nera is to never use focus for flechettes in hopes that the torpedoes miss and munitions Failsafe kicks in, all the while causing a free stress to the opponent. Also she gets the free torpedo turret from her ability. Once she's down to half health then start using focus to ditch the torps if she still has them to try and dish out as much damage as possible before she gets taken out.

If you're looking for your torpedo's to miss, then you're asking Dash (and a lowly Z) to do a LOT of damage. HLC is nice, but not enough to close the deal without help.

IMO a successful Dash list is going to be designed to hammer whatever ship is most threatening to Dash, then Dash alone can do most of the chaff cleanup with arc-dodging.

Building towards that is your best bet.

I'm going with the legal distinction, which is backed by the O.E.D.

Legal version is suspect because under law corporations are people and we all know that's just a tax dodge.
