Cursory searches have not yielded this data, and running down the first six pages I did not spot this, so here's the question:
What is/are the list of common names for card sets?
Examples: Fat Han(s)?
A lot of these get used repeatedly without further referencing on what they mean.
Same question for short titles: Fire Control System (FCS)?
There are too many list and so many have variations. This thread will degenerate into people arguing what truly makes up a certain build.
While I think acromyms, along with how people compose text messages, show a dumbing down of society, it would be a huge benefit to have a 'stickied' reference at the top of the forum.
There used to be a thread that people would link to where a list of acronyms and abbreviations had been compiled whenever this question came up. I think that was a couple waves ago though. Not a bad idea if there was something that Juggler could link to in his stickied thread.
And really the best thing for lists is giving a general idea with common upgrades. That's one of the great things about this game, it's so customizable that you have a ton of variations to the same archetype.
Naturally, and I expected someone to say what AtomicFryingPan said, however; as Galactic Funk mentions: it would be good to have an Archetype explanation.
Taking Fat Hans - I have no idea what that is supposed to suggest at all. Is it Tanky? Does it mean every upgrade possible? etc..
Another one I have heard is "Buzzsaw" (err.. read), I am sure that is a particular combination of cards, but I am sure this can be listed and would be good to have sticked. So, at least if everyone contributed all at once, we could then make a clean post for sticky purposes.
Personally, as someone who has written a lot of papers - I do not introduce acronyms of quick-ideas without referencing them the first time, every time I write something new. But, people are inherently lazy.

I like making up my own code-names:
Vader and the Brat Pack
Focus Factory
Miami Sound Machine
...etc.

EPT = Elite Pilot Trait
FCS = Fire Control System (System)
Fat Hans = Fat refers to YT-1300 Hans Solo + numerous upgrades not necessarily tanky.
Fat Hans = (general example) - EU + C3PO (Crew) + Crew + Title + EPT
Buzzsaw = FCS (System) + Gunner (Crew)
