Plz enlighten me.
Best allround rebel list to kill double decimators
Corran Horn ptl r2d2 FCS Shield upgrade.
Pretty much anything else. He can almost do it by himself.
Four b wings and a bandit have worked well for me. You pretty much wipe one out every two turns.
Etahn with AS, PtL and R2 along with five bandits has been effective... the decimators usually end up with half a dozen crits.
Honestly i think a LOT of things can kill 2 Decimators....1+support seems to be the far more effective way to use them so far.
Verdict: Just about anything. Decimators are just a lot of hull without many tricks to keep you from getting through that hull. Decimators are hopefully good and useful, but right now they don't seem to very extremely competitive for a large ship. Good and fun and useful, but by no means overpowered in any way.
Probably the most efficient list would be Etahn and bandits due to sheer number of dice, difficulty to kill, and crits really really hurt decimators.
The tactic against Decimators is basically throw dice at them since they can't cancel damage without Ysanne. Generally, the further away the better (except for Kenkirk).
Edited by ficklegreendiceI'm beginning to doubt Decimators will see much competitive play once the wave 5 meta settles down. Too fragile for their cost and they don't have the toys of a Fat Han or Fat Dash. Too bad.

Oh my, no they have plenty of toys. The imperial crew upgrades don't see the same limelight as the rebel ones which debuted in the most recent aces, nor the bull that is C3PO, but there are some incredibly powerful combinations available. Rebel Captive, for example, single handedly shuts down phantoms and pisses the hell out of PTL uses (including Dash).
Not to mention there is immense potential for Lone Wolf Kenkirk and Chiraneau in general, since the later is one of not a lot of pilots that carries a pseudo-action benefit without having to preform any. Between his ability and predator, Chiraneau reaches almost optimal offense with 0 actions required leaving room open for boosts or bumping/obstructions with little cause for concern.
Chiraneau with EU is even, funnily enough, a pretty good hard-counter to outrider dash. It's also, like any large ship with high PS and EU, an arc-dodging beast. His only problem is that a 46 base cost leaves him w/Predator + EU 1 point too expensive for a four academy escort. On the bright side, the named tie pilots kick ass.
