As a player who's just entered the arena, I really was stifled by the distribution problems that we know plagues FFG and their retailers. However, after seeing it mentioned a couple of times on the forum, I decided to take a chance and call three local B&N stores in my area. First two, duds. The third? Well, I walked out tonight with 2 A-Wings, 2 B-Wings, and 2 Slave 1s. Needless to say, Christmas came early for me.

So, for everyone who suggested that I check a place that I never would've thought to check, a big, big thanks!

I happened to catch two from CSI two weeks ago and nearly broke my arm pulling out my debit card. I still would like another a-wing and b-wing. Come on, restocks!

My LGS has a Shuttle and an Imperial Aces just sitting on the shelf doing nothing.

Pity it's in Australia though I guess.

That B&N also had a shuttle, 2 transports, Imperial Aces, a couple of y-wings, and a smattering of other ships. Only wish that they'd had a Falcon :-/

So, I'm exploring the A-wing xpac and I notice that Arvel doesn't get the elite pilot slot but the green squadron pilot does. Isn't that backwards?

Gemmer sojan in rebel Aces also doesn't come with an ept.

Of course you can give arvel an ept with the title in rebel Aces. Only one ept but still.

Also, arvel really really sucks, so you're not in too terrible shape.

In my head, I just couldn't justify ever flying 2 Firesprays in a game and so... I sold one of them. Weighing the options, between it being Christmas-time, the scarcity of the ship currently in retail, and the buzz for the new S&V pilots, it just seemed the time to double my money on it, which I did. I then turned around and ordered a couple of Z-95s, a couple of E-Wings, and a couple of Phantoms. Here's to hoping that I made the right call. I think that I did...

Doubling your money makes this a good call. I happen to have recently bought a used, second fire spray for twenty bucks as I figured I wouldn't mind running two of them at once. I have done so, it's pretty effective! Plus the upgrades on the firespray - hlc, stealth device, proximity mines, seismic charges and to a lesser extent merc copilot are all really good.

Anyway, weird eh? Opposite day!

I'll also say that running 3x Bounty Hunter is also a very difficult list to beat (unless you're running Swarm).
