My protagonists are unlikely to escape their next adventure aboard their starship. It has been impounded because of their negligence.
I'm thinking of having them escape aboard a passenger liner or a cruise ship. Do you know of any in the Star Wars universe?
The session after that will feature a hijacking of the ship, so maps would be of immense help.
One of the Han Solo books had the specific scenario although I don't know as they named the cruise line.

If you wanted to be more "cruise liner" specific, any floor plans for modern ocean-going cruise ships should be good enough for interiors -- a cruise ship is a cruise ship, whether for sea or space.
Pricing would likely be between 25 and 100 cr/week of travel (based on a Class 2 or 3 hyperdrive) depending upon level of luxury during the "cruise".

If you want an unusual passenger ship to have an adventure on I'd recommend a Treeship, from Dan Simmons' "Hyperion Cantos". In Star Wars it could be run by Ithorians... A really different setting for an adventure.
Track down the old D6 "Riders of the Maelstrom" Module (D6 holocron is a good place to start)
It has a poster sized map of a Calamari luxury liner.
If you want something smaller the D6 Adventure journal had a short story with a Luxury 200 passenger ship complette with illustration and deckplans. This ones tough to find, but I can probably scan it for ya if you PM me.

The Citadel from the main book is a light passenger carrier, and many freighters and transports carry paying passengers. It's not as luxurious as a cruise ship, but it's usually lower profile and much cheaper too.

First entry here,... kinda nervous. xD
So my group and I play different settings and systems for many years. And with SW I decided I wanna give GM'ing a go.
Since my players decided early on to start a legal "enterprise" for the time being and are used to much stricter systems (our main system is still "The Dark Eye" where you have rules for everything, literally[!]) I had of course to come up with some kind of ship management on the go. (I'm trying to get them away from the hard rules and more into the narrative system,.. but it takes a step at a time.. and there are a lot of small steps still ahead. ^^°)
The ideas on this page and pdf are good, but what baffles me are the numbers.
25 to 100 Credits a week seems kinda low. Maybe I give my players too many credits and should try to starve them a bit more. But I used a ration from the CRB as minimum provision for a days worth of travel. Anything lower would be the military rations,.... and those who have served know that you don't wanna go by this standard if it isn't necessary.
Right now my players wanna go with cheap provisions that have at least a bit taste left and are paying 10 Credits each person and day. And ofc they have to get this investment back from the passengers. (Plus fuel, port demurrage, risk and some profit.)
I think traveling across the galaxy isn't something everyone does every second week. And with the table in Far Horizons listing the average income of different professions it would seem to me that a travel across the galaxy isn't something every unskilled worker could afford without a problem.
(This and the fact that my players scrapped every credit they could get together to afford 2 GX-8 Water Vaporator and sold them on Tatooine and made a buttload of credits with the trading rules in the CRB. Transportation of items would be way more profitable than passenger transport and noone would rly consider it.)
I guess it breaks down to "How does the economy in your SW group work and how many credits are you giving your players?" but am I alone in this and should try to scale down a bit?
I mean,.. one pirate ambush with a bit of hull damage to the ship and they will be thrown back quite a bit if not even need a loan,.. but what are you guys thinking? (And as I'm new to GM'ing, I appreciate every little info and help you could provide,... ^^°)
The numbers I provided were for -commercial- traffic. Basically think large cruise ships and 747s. Hundreds, if not thousands of paying passengers per trip. With the galaxy being the size that it is and competition being what it is, prices for transport are going to be surprisingly low.
That said, -private- traffic is going to be absurdly expensive (as it should be) but it will involve a lot less of a headache for the passengers. If your players don't have a capital ship and aren't transporting hundreds of people at a time, then the numbers they're going to need to charge are, by necessity, going to be higher. However, they're likely to be able to "avoid Imperial entanglements" more readily than would a luxury cruise liner.
I believe there was a cruise liner called "The Star of Empire" that I recall had exceptionally bad luck.
As HappyDaze mentioned, there's the Citadel in the Core Rulebook, but the Lambda-class shuttle is also a long-range passenger vessel, more like a chartered bus then an airliner or cruise ship. I don't think you could stow away on one easily, but bribe or deceive your way on could work for you.
In Far Horizons there's the Indulgent-class Luxury Starliner which carries 1500 passengers, easy to stowaway and get lost on.
