Not a Deck But a really good deck idea

By NoobFighterFTW, in UFS Deck Building

ok I was looking at the ALL symbol lately to build a new deck and I noticed something, check this out:

Dark Force: Mirage Body 6/4/8/1

E: If this attack deals damage, until the end of your next turn, each time a player plays a foundation as a form into their cardpool, add that foundation to that players staging area.

Monster Lariat 5/4/5/3

E: If this attack deals damage, for the rest of this turn while this card is in your cardpool, draw 1 card after you play a foundation(not as a block).

Ok, now as far as I can tell, this can be really sick, if both attacks deal damage, every foundation you play for the rest of the turn allows you to add it to the staging area ready, and you draw a card off it. So you could potentially play out you entire foundation base in one turn and hit them with one more attack with all those foundations in play for the kill.

Now granted, all the foundations will have +2 difficulty from the attacks being it the card pool, but if they all go to the staging area ready, that leaves you plenty of cards to commit for CCs. And with damage pumps and speed pumps as most of your base, you'll hit that thrid attack for game easy.

The best way I've seen to try this is to get BRT or something else to push the first to attacks through, them play as many damage and speed pumps as possible, adding them all to the staging area, then hit them with a third attack for a huge amount of damage. The problem I'm having is the only character I can see running this with is Jon Herr, for the ability to make sure you draw into foundations until you are ready to attack for game. The other problem is that this is all situational, you HAVE to get those two attacks through, early enough in the game to overpower your opponent, and not run too many attacks in the deck so the you have higher checks and not draw into too many attacks will wil shut down the combo(a hand full of attacks isn't going to do anything if you have no way to play them all.

But I'm working on it, I'll post a deck about this later once I get all the kinks worked out. Thanks for reading, I just thought this was really cool, even if it's already been done.

Hugo could do this since, essentially, his Response gives him a 6 HS should youhave 2 foundations in your hand. His support also makes you draw if I remember correctly.

**Rock Howard** could do this easy since his HS is ALWAYS above his 5.

9-Dot Ryu would be good if you could get momentum.

Not to mntion ***Alex*** and his ever fluxuating HS as well.

Of course, drawing into another Dark Mirage and using Fight or Flight would me huge as well. You don't really need anything else unless you want it.

don't have the decklist with me but i won our last local tourney with a dark force mirage rock.

Attacks were DFMB, Monster lariat, Pommel Smash, and NRS.

If the opponent attacked me and didnt kill me (i ran criminal past as well as chesters to stay alive) they usually ate a 16dmg DFMB reversal followed up by a barrage of attacks next turn.

Lets just say DFMB + Monster Lariat is dumb. Add Turn it On and you are drawing like crazy. And aquakinesis gives you a 6-7 HS before you even start the sillyness.

I had like 17 cards in my hand at one point, lol.

All you would really need, then, is DFMB and Turn It On. Granted DFMB is a 1 check and Turn it on is a 2 check, but it really wouldn't matter if you Fire Kicked them to death when you have your entire staging area out and you've strripped their hand with Saikyo, Unorthodox Training, Popularity and whatever else.

Things get even more nuts if you get Whirlwind in the mix since you could then do...you know, whatever.

Oh, and any attack + Fight or Flight = Game. With the DFMB/Turn it on combo you should have all that you need out there. Any 5 damage attacks becomes 10 damage and with no hand it also becomes game.

Hmmm...nice.

what if DFMB gets negated or fully blocked or whatever?

Its all about alternate win condition. With Rocks insane draw, its hard to stop Pommel Smash, Pommel Smash, NRS...especially with 2-3 LotMs out (at least until the end of this month, lol)

I found i used the E on NRS and not the powerful, that way if they managed to survive i could draw into a next turn or reversal kill.

I have seen this combo been pulled of for the last couple of weeks, and it is so awesome.

This deck has already been built by the foxhound playgroup and the rochester playgroup also used the basic deck idea that we provided them with. It works with mirage force and turn it on, the deck archetype is called turn it on alex or dark body alex.... As soon as you get the combo off, you win the game pretty much.

I survived a Dark Force once! No Turn it On tho... and on my turn I managed to draw into 3 The Bigger They Are and came back ftw

The problems with the deck, ESPECIALLY the Turn it On edition, basically revolve around getting the Dark Force to connect, and then sustaining your card draw, and THEN ensuring that you do not run your deck out of cards (could be a real problem if your opponent has some Antisocials down lol) before you set up your win condition.

Here's a tournament report with decklist, running this sort of thing...

this deck is extremely awesome, and can be pulled of by either alex, hugo, or maybe JT.

Or, you know, Rock Howard.

I'm thinkin' Rock with a beefy 70-78 card deck. set yourself up a nice staging area and go for the beatface with some Fight or Flights in the end. Personally, I think it's the most viable way.
