I just had to try two of these pocket Star Destroyers. Yes, I used Vader wrong. He does not bypass shields like Proton Bomb does.

Edited by Stormtrooper721I've just read through the FAQ. How did Darth (crew) deal the critical to the Outrider while it still had shields? From my understanding of the FAQ, Shields stop Darth's crew ability, as the enemy ship 'suffers' a critical damage. It is not 'dealt' a critical damage.
Or have I completely read the whole suffer vs dealt section wrong?
Cheers

No, you are right and I was wrong. Several people pointed that out. It was my first time using Vader and I mis-interpreted how it worked. For some reason, I thought it worked like Proton Bomb, where you do deal one face-up damage card and bypass the shields. Live and learn.

Ah. No worries. We all make mistakes. I make more than enough.
