So, in the latest preview for the Star Wars RPG line, there's a prominent placement of a Rebel ship, the BTS-A2 H-wing.
Does this point to a future new release for the Rebels in X-Wing?

Edited by maxamJust because it is in the LCG doesn't mean it will make it into X-wing the following year.
Now if it appeared in Armada I might say possible.
I'd say ffg would never put something so ugly in x-wing, but then i remember the e-wing...

What are you talking about? The E-Wing looks totally rad.

FFG didn't have much choice with the e-wing, it has too much presence in the fluff and if they didn't include it there would be weekly "where is my e-wing" threads. Thankfully the same isn't true for this h-wing abomination, most people had probably never heard of it before they saw the FFG news post. And therefore X-Wing can safely ignore it.
If they did add one, I'd guess it to include a turret and a cannon slot, as well as a new turret type: HLC Turret. It'd include one each of HLC Turret, Ion Cannon, and Fire-Control System. It'd roll with a system slot, a crew slot, and two torpedo slots in addition to the turret and cannon slots.

I don't know; they're giving it a spot in their star wars RPG, so that elevates it in a considerable way. Before this article, it hardly made it on my radar. It's a pretty wonky ship and looks like someone got lazy and stapled two Y-wings together and called it a day at the shipyards.
But it being in another FFG game means a few things. They're going to have art for it, which we already see - that makes it more convenient to put into a game (card art is already done). They think it's good enough to put in a game, obviously. And also we're looking at a pretty poor selection of new rebel small ships for future waves. There's only a handful of semi-viable options left to begin with, so seeing the H in another FFG game puts it on my radar.
I really don't want the H-Wing. It really, really looks terrible and like a bad fan creation you'd find on a star wars fanon website.
Can't wait for Q-wings to come out.

Totally Rad! My favorite ship, followed by the Headhunter. I just wish I could fly a swarm of E-Wings, but I'll have to settle with the Zs. ![]()
I seriously hope not. That thing is hideous. I love my SW ships, but these letter-wing ships start getting worse and worse as they dig deeper into the EU.
