As a person who has bought every released expansion to date, I can safely say I would not buy that if they made it for X-wing.

Another turreted large ship? Or would it be standard size? If Scum and Villainy weren't a thing, I'd probably buy he H-wing. As it stands, who needs Rebel scum when you can fly Scum scum?
Edited by BudgernautGoddamn that's ugly. I actually thought i knew most ships, but wow....Just looked it up and it appeared in one issue of "Challenge Magazine" only.
Talk about scraping the barrel, and getting some very suspect gunk out.
There are V-wing also in this article.
The TIE hunter's appeared a second time too.
It looks better than the picture on Wookieepedia. FFG model wizardry wouldn't make it too ugly.
It looks like a shoe.
At 17.1 meters, that makes it normal ship, not a large one, right?
EDIT: It looks like a ship version of the T2-B Repulsor Tank.
Edited by BudgernautThat's the byproduct of an A-wing and Y-wing abortion.

Yes. It isn't much longer than the HWK.

That's what I noticed, as well. . .
And, the article implies it's a Rebel ship at that.
Edited by quasistellarHey, people fly the eww-wing, so why not this?
It likely would have a turret primary attack, two crew slots, a cannon slot, along with 3 torpedo slots. It would have lots of hull, 1 agility at most and decent shields. I doubt the dial would be great, but maybe another ship with a red 0 maneuver.
Still not as ugly and poorly designed as an e-wing..
Weird
Always thought the Tie Fighter had the perfect form for the H-wing ![]()
E-wings and TIE hunters among prequel-era Venator class and Trade Federation donuts? What gives!?

Clone Wars derelicts, I think. Didn't make a ton of sense in the context of the article, though.
Ugh. Make the arc and v wing instead. Those were cool ships.
Oh thats where i left my door stop.
"A quartet of Ties"
I'm guessing Tie Hunter, Tie Phantom, Tie Scout, and hopefully Tie Avenger!
ugly as mofo.
whoo i just noticed i have 2k posts.

i'd buy the senator shuttle expansion over this. yknow, the wave 7 thing.
Sad that it didnt even make it into any source books till now. I think it looks better on wookiepedia

The old legends fiction is mostly disregarded. The e-wing may not be a new republic design, as with episode VII, there may not be a new republic. Sorry if that is a potential spoiler, but you can't comment on the status of a ship unless you factor in the potential throwing out of the expandes universe source.

Could make sense either way, they could just be fighting in a ship graveyard decades after that battle. The TIEs and Es are definitely post-Endor, if nothing else.
We probably shouldn't over-interpret this one piece of art, though.
I'm not a fan of the two Galaxies ships they've introduced to the game: the decimator and the scyx. Both are pretty ugly designs I think. But this one is definitely much worse.
Also as mentioned, the e-wings darting through destroyed venerators and federation ships is pretty trippy. I wonder if they are supposed to be leftover wreckage am old clone wars battle that was never picked up?
I don't think I am over interpreting anything. The story source for the e-wing is possibly being rendered null and void by the new movies. The new movies have a new x-wing design, which the e-wing was supposed to replace. The e-wing may now be an older design, rather than a new republic.
The RPG lines have the default setting placed at just after the destruction of the first death star.
The new canon is going to be a great source of new material, so why not make ships that exist in the invalidated future, current designs? Then they can co-exist with the new canon that is all new media.
What is the ship on the cover?
