Questions of Blubber: Fat Han sidekicks

By Blail Blerg, in X-Wing

Hello,

Wanted to ask people what they think of the differences and strengths of Fat Han variants in an attempt to help me understand better how much influence a critical upgrade makes.

Let's assume the core of the build is:

Han Solo (46)
C-3PO (3)
Engine Upgrade (4)
Millennium Falcon (1)
Total: 54
I leave out the EPT and the second crew because that's where a lot of variation takes place.
One could say that changing the pilot also creates a lot of variations, but for the sake of conversation, let's leave it at mostly this: Han, usually with these upgrades.

The variants I've seen include:
Predator Luke 3Z : aka, the most typical Fat Han
Put initiative up to a roll. Gives Phantom 5 tie a slight shot at winning against it. Better against most other lists.
VI 2 Talas 1 Bandit, Luke: aka, v2 typical Fat Han.
Best against Phantoms, Phantom has very very little chance in this match. Not quite as good vs everything else.
R2D2crew + Predator 3Z : aka Paul Heaver Worlds version 2 I think
No Gunner or Luke. Noted a slightly lower damage output, but only by a little.
Biggs Z, Luke Predator: aka Paul Heaver Nationals version 1
Longer lasting. less emphasis on escorts, more on staying alive. Time plays a big part in this.
Corran: aggro version. I have heard rumors this build relies on shooting down a few ships and going to time. Losing corran, but almost never losing Han within a time limit.

What are your thoughts on these? What do you think is best? How would you choose a variant based on what you think you would see at a given tournament?
How much more effective is Biggs vs newer Wave 5 builds?
I see the extra blubber Biggs provides as being highly effective at wearing out Decimators and winning the game over them too.
